I just got back from Saratoga Springs. It is a fantastic resort for a jog.
My runs changed everyday, but I absolutely loved running from the resort through Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island/West Side and back.
The loop started just before the bridge between The Springs and Congress Park. I stayed on the sidewalk/path as it ran along the water. My runs started around 8am, so by the time I got to the Marketplace, the sun was at my back. There are very few people there at that time of morning. In fact, one day the only person I saw in West Side was another runner. We gave eachother
.
After West Side, I kept on the path and it joins up with the water again. You run past the putting greens and then turn as soon as you go over the bridge. This leads you out to the SSR boat launch and then you keep going up the street and it will put you where you started, just before the bridge before Congress Park.
Millage for that loop is 2.05 miles! (I know I thought it would be longer too!)
So what is your favorite resort for running?
