I was trying to decide if I should post this under the Transportation Thread or here and realized it would better be suited here. I am trying to just gather info (or even a simple list) as to which resorts have more then just the bus option to parks. For example, I didn't realize that BW or BC you could walk to both EPCOT & HS as well as take a boat and a bus. I'm trying to figure out backup options to our Poly June 2021 trip in which the Monorail may (or may not) be working. If we decide to switch locations I want to go with a resort that will give us the most flexibility to get to some parks. I liked that the Poly we can walk to the TTC...but of course the EPCOT monorail might not be working by then either. Thanks!

Like you stated the BW and BC are great. I’d also add the swan/dolphin and the Riviera. Swan/dolphin you can walk to both parks and the riviera with the skyliner is fantastic to get to both parks super easy. All these resorts have such a better location than any of the monorail loop resorts imo. I know Caribbean beach, aoa and pop are considered sky liner resorts but you could do some serious walking to reach the skyliner depending on your resort location from your room.

Just FYI, there are no buses to Epcot or DHS from either BWI or BC. And while there are usually boats that run to both (the Friendship Boats), they are currently not running (and no one is sure when they will return).

IMHO, the EP resorts offer the most flexibility in transportation options. As you mentioned, you can walk, boat (suspended currently) and/or take the skyliner to two parks. If you want to be right next to EP and the Skyliner station, BC/BCV is the way to go. If you'd rather be closer to the DHS walking path, BWI/BWV is the way to go. If you want to be near a boat dock that eliminates a lot of stops, YC is probably your best bet (or Swan/Dolphin if you don't mind staying at a non-WDW resort). The second best option, IMHO, would be CR for the walk to MK and perhaps GF once the walkway to MK opens.

How long is your trip? What parks are you visiting? If we knew the plans it might help
The current trip is 8 days (with 2 travel days) but if we don't stay poly is will be 6 days (with 2 travel days). so either 6 or 4 days on site. We plan on hitting at least each park once and if we have 6 park days we will do two MK and HS twice.
