Best Resort for nice dinner and visit

Our very Favorite restaurant ARTIST POINT.
The fireplace in the WL lobby is stupendous also.

We've done Jiko.... but we go to hang out at the AKL mostly.

Flying Fish was good, but a little rich and heavy for our taste. And hanging out at the Boardwalk is nice.

this trip we'll be trying out Cape May. We love the YC/BC.

I guess I'm alone on this but I would say the Grand Floridian. It is a beautiful hotel! We did dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I would not recommend it. Had I been paying oop I would have been pretty upset. I have heard really good things about the GF Cafe though. The hotel is gorgeous and they also have live music in the evenings. Around 7 when we had our reservation there was a jazz/blues band playing. When we finished there was a pianist. It really is great entertainment.

You are not alone - I agree. But I REALLY enjoy dinner at California Grill on top of the Contemporary. Still, I'm not a huge fan of CR for "exploring" around before/after dinner. I would eat at CG, then monorail over to GF to enjoy the atmosphere. The best of both worlds!!
