Is there a better or best resort to have the most efficient (least wait time) for transportation to all theme parks?

Every resort will require bus transportation to at least 2 parks and wait times will vary according to the time of day (park openings and closings can be the worst!). Skyliner resorts have their advantages but the system shuts down for severe weather and then alternative transport can be difficult. The Crescent Lake resorts have easy walking or boat access or to Epcot and HS. Monorail resorts have boats to MK or you can walk, although Poly to MK is a bit of a hike.

AKL and WL while both deluxe resorts, have no walking path to the theme parks. You'll take mostly buses from them or a boat to the MK from WL. So they tend to cost a bit less than the other deluxe resorts, but still cost more than the moderate resorts because they offer more than the moderate resorts.

Disney Deluxe Resorts (with the sole exception of Animal Kingdom Lodge and not including Villas-only resorts) are all located in resort neighbourhoods, so that is the category to explore. Each Deluxe resort will have close proximity/easy access/multiple access options to at least one park (and sometimes two). There is no single answer really as there are dependencies that you will consider for yourself. However, if you pressed me on it, I would have to say that Beach Club, Yacht Club and Boardwalk would top the list because they are in close proximity (even walking distance) to two parks.

My favorite is Beach Club because it's closest to Epcot International Gateway and you can walk to Hollywood Studios and it's a beautiful walk along the river. If/when the park hopper opens back for all day it's perfect for catching the monorail to MK too from Epcot. Then you only need transportation to AK.

I would say Boardwalk, Yacht Club , Beach Club and Swan & Dolphin as you have access to bus, ferry, skylines and foot.

If we didn't Uber everywhere, I'd say the YC or BC. But outside of the MK, that's all we use now so a resort that has non-bus transportation is a must for us. That means Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, the GF or Fort Wilderness are our favorites.

Depends on if you have a priority park and if you are willing to walk. We spend a LOT of time at MK, so the Contemporary is by far our best bet. SHORT walk. If Epcot or DHS are the priority, then a IG/Boardwalk resort is you’re best bet. If it’s AK, then AKL.

As others have said, no resort is perfect for every park.

We like Poly because you can monorail or boat to MK (we love the boat ride), and walk to the TTC to get directly on the Epcot monorail.

Epcot area is the best IMO because you get to walk to two parks, but the downside is buses can be awful to the other two parks from those resorts.

We've had good luck with Pop (and All Star Movies since reopening while there's no bus sharing with the other All Stars going on) with buses - the lines can get long, but the buses come much more frequently and quickly.
