Best resort for Christmas?

We are doing some pre-planning for our 2008 trip, which we've decided will be during the Christmas season. We haven't been there for Christmas yet, and I was wondering what your opinions were on which is the most "Christmassy" resort -- from decorations to a general holly-jolly feeling

Oh, and if you have pics of the resorts at Christmas, even better!

GF without a doubt. It has a huge x-mas tree in the middle of the main building and a giant gingerbread house too, its pretty cool.

We stayed at AKL and it was very pretty and cozy feeling. However, I don't think it's the most Christmassy. I agree with the pp that the GF is beautiful at Christmas. I know a lot of people really like the WL at Christmastime, but I haven't personally seen it.

From all the pictures I have seen of the resorts at Christmas time the Wilderness Lodge looks the most beautiful. It is spectacular normally so I can just imagine it all done up for Christmas. That is where I will be staying December 2008.

Does anybody have any pictures of the Lodge at xmas that they could share?? Pretty please?! I need my WL fix!

GF and WL are the two best. GF is very elegant, of course. WL is very warm and homey. We love both.

I am so pleased to see so many people mentioning WL as being the best resort for that holiday feel. We will be staying there November 29-December 1 for our Grand Gathering and I think having the resort decorated so beautifully for Christmas will make an already very special once-in-a-lifetime event for us (Grand Gathering) that much more magical. I can't wait!

WL - hands down!

From sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate at night, to sitting outside, watching the white lights strung in the courtyard trees, listening to soft Christmas music - it's gorgeous!

Like many of you I like the WL. The only time a fireplace in the lobby makes sense in Florida'

GF. The smell from that huge gingerbread house is amazing! They also have poinsettias every where.

BC gets honorable mention. The gingerbread carousel gives this resort a Holiday feel.
