I'm looking for suggestions for the best resort for a group of friends just dying to see the world together. There will be six or seven of us probably using three rooms. Three guys and four girls all single all in the our late twenties or early thirties. Where do you think we would best fit in or most enjoy ourselves?

A fellow Mass. resident! I go to the World once a year. I definitely think if you guys can afford it, you should consider staying at the Yacht Club, or anywhere on the Boardwalk (including Swan and Dolphin if any of you are eligible for the teacher, nurse or military discount). The Boardwalk is great because of the back entrance to Epcot and the night activities. We love the ESPN club, Jellyrolls (a dueling piano bar) and Atlantic Dance is right there (although we haven't been yet). Otherwise, if considering a moderate, I would think PO-FQ or Caribbean Beach. Good luck deciding and have a blast!

As usual, I will suggest CSR. Check out my website below for info and photos.

Have a few drinks at Francisco's, a 200-seat lounge offering specialty drinks and Southwestern-favorite snacks such as sopas (tortillas with shredded pork, pico de gallo sauce, black beans and cheese) or enjoy a seviche bar, similar to the one at Maya Grill. The emphasis is on tequilas and Latin drinks. The lounge offers tequila flights, an assortment of tequilas brought to your table throughout the night with your food. Francisco's is open from 5pm to 1am daily.

Or move to Siesta's Pool Bar - in the pool area for some food and drinks.

Buzz2001, your website is amazing! Thanks for sharing. I've never stayed at CSR, but you've convinced me to consider it next visit. Great pictures!!

I have a couple of suggestions for your group. I am in my 20's and I like the Boardwalk for a Deluxe and either PO-FQ or CSR for a moderate. If your planning on going to Pleasure Island to party I suggest staying @ PO-FQ since it is close to Downtown Disney. I hope you have a great trip. Sounds like it will be lots of fun!!!!:)

With that many of you, you might want to consider one of the Villas. You could stay in a 2BR at Boardwalk and that way you will have a full kitchen and Living Room to hang out in.
The 2BRs sleep up to 8 people but you will have to share beds.
With coed singles that may be fun.

I would suggest one of the Epcot resorts. That will put you in close proximity to Epcot, MGM and Boardwalk.... places where people in our age bracket most like to hang out!

If you are thinking of a moderate, I would suggest CSR, because they are the only moderate with bus transportation to and from Boardwalk at night. I also think their ambience is more "adult" in theming.

CSR has bus transportation to the Boardwalk at night?!?!? This is key. I never knew that. Now, I'm thinking of switching from AKL, but also want to try that resort. That's for the info, though. That's a great thing, and in my opinion that sets CSR apart as a clear choice.

I second the suggestion of a Home Away From Home resort. Depending upon the, ahem, relationships involved, you might be able to get away with one 2-bedroom for your entire party. The 2-bedroom features a king size bed in one room, two queens in the other, and a sleeper-sofa in the living room. They also have full kitchens (you can save a TON on food if you make a grocery store trip and eat breakfast and lunches in your room), a living room, 3 TVs (two bedrooms and living room), two bathrooms, balconies, etc.

To really save, check the DVC boards for information on renting points from a DVC member. The rack rates for these rooms will probably scare you off--nearly $500 per night--but you can do it for a fraction of that cost by renting points from a Vaction Club member. Again, check the DVC boards or send me a private message if you want details on this process. Trust me--it is not a scam.

Thanks for all of your advice so far. I am torn between the Home away from Home Idea and CSR . I actually never considered CSR , but the bus to the Boardwalk is a big draw if money becomes a big issue.
