Best resort, 2 kids, bunk beds??? Opinions?

Two young kids, ages 2.5 and 6.

Thinking bunk beds might be fun (little one on bottom).

What's the best resort in your opinion? Open to all price categories at this point.

I'm not sure if all resorts have bunkbeds. I know for sure that Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom both have them. All of the deluxe resorts have queen sized beds also! I know that CBR does not have bunkbeds and it only has double beds. We are staying at AK with bunkbeds in November, the kids will love it! And DH and I are happy to have the queen bed this year too!

As far as I knew there were only two resorts w/ bunk beds and that was WL & AKL so if you are looking for bunks it would have to be between those two... Other then that you will have more of a choice w/ resorts if you are looking for them to share a bed...

WL and AKL have bunk beds and my kids loved them! My DH and I loved not having to share a bed with our kids-DD is nicknamed the Thrasher!!! Kiddos thought it was totally special to have bunks. WL and AKL are cheapest of the Deluxes. Other deluxes do have 2 queens and a daybed.

I think I remember the cabins at FW also having bunks but that was a looonngg time ago. They may have been remodeled by now. Otherwise you will have to go with AKL or WL. We LOVE AKL and are trying WL for the first time this year.

We have stayed in bunkbed rooms at both WL and AKL. My DS loves them. The room sizes at both resorts are about the same unless you get a deluxe room...in this case, the deluxe rooms at the WL are larger than the deluxe rooms at AKL. I think that perhaps you would be better at WL due to its proximity to MK. Many really like the boat transportation to MK plus you can catch a bus, if you prefer.

That said, the kid activities at AKL are very unique and my DS loved them when he was 5, 6 and 7. I know WL has some but now that he is 9 he kinda turned his nose the other way. They sounded fun to me .... but ya know at 9 you have the world by the tail and pretty much know it all. LOL!

The theme is drastically different with the two resorts so take a look at which you prefer. We like both, about the same, for different reasons. We prefer the food court at WL over Mara at AKL. Lobbies are somewhat similar. Service was similar. We really liked concierge at AKL, too. Haven't stayed concierge at WL.

OK, so I looked at the virtual tours for both WL and AKL and it looks like the bunk beds are right next to the adult bed.

Can anyone tell me where to look where there is some sort of separation between the adult bed and the kids beds? Doesn't have to necessarily be a totally separate room, but just some sort of partition/separation?

Our little guy will go to bed around 7:30pm and the rest of us don't want to go to bed that early. HELP!!
