Best rental car for us..??

Last year our trip was easy.. we packed our twin's car seats/boosters in a suitcase and used them in our rental car.. which was a SUV/Durango...
This year - we bring along our newest addition - DS #2 will be 9 months old and needing his car seat too..

My question - we plan to rent a minivan, and have never rented a minivan before. Do they all come with the 3rd row? do they typically have captains chairs or benches...?

DH is also considering a Pacifica type of rental... But wouldn't all the seats have to fit in one row? (That does not work for us at home with our minivan - a T & C)

How do families cope with one child in baby seat.. room to pack a stroller and luggage.. and two more in boosters??

We will pretty much have 3 in car seats (HUGE Britax ones too, ugh, except the baby will be in a infant carrier) too along with 2 stollers and a TON of luggage. Our solution is that one of us will take all the kids on ME, and therefore ALL the checked luggage and probably the stollers too, while the other one rents the minivan (Grandma is coming with us making us 6 so a minivan is a MUST). When we meet up at the resort then DH will install all the carseats and we will use the car to get around. We also plan on doing this for the way to the airport too.

Rather inconventional, but it should work good for us. Good luck!

I just have a few more questions.. When you go on ME - will you have the car seats? or are they not required on the bus..? and, do you know how the seats are configured in the minivan?

Carseats are not allowed on ME, so the driver will just store them under the bus (or I *might* just bring them in the rental, but with no kids, we'll see), so it's worth a few bucks to me to tip the ME driver for dealing with it all, we just have to get from the gate to the ME area (or so I'm lead to believe from what I have read on the DIS). For our 4 year old, I think we are not going to use the carseat on the plane, so will probably check it with luggage and have it sent straight to the resort.

We are renting from Dollar (as of now) and they have Dodge Caravans or similiar, so I assume it has the 3 row set up with 3 in the back, 2 in the middle, and the normal upfront because it says it holds 7 adults.
