Best reasonable restaurant in Epcot?

What do you recommend for a good reasonable restaurant in Epcot? We have older kids so we aren't looking for a character meal but something not too fancy. Thanks!

I like the Biergarten in Germany.....it is a buffet and there are enough choices for everyone to have something I think.....plus there is entertainment with the band..

I replied in your other thread. I'll post the same thing here, in case that thread disappears.

We haven't eaten there, but I think Rose and Crown is probably the most reasonable. Many people love it.

I think most of the restaurants in Epcot are reasonably (and none---with the exception of Bistro and maybe Le Cellier I would classify as fancy).

I would recommend either Teppan Edo in Japan (they cook on the table in front of you like they would at Benihana, etc. which can be really fun) OR San Angel Inn in Mexico. A lot of people don't like this restaurant and a lot do, I'm one that does. The food is good (although I don't really like flan for dessert) and the atmosphere is unbeatable IMHO. You can go on a little boat ride before or after dinner, eat under the "stars" in Mexico while a marriachi (sp?) band plays for you.

Mexico is a favorite of mine as well. China is not that great, the food is not Disney standard. Italy is VERY expensive and Le Cellier is obviously fancy. The rest are all very good choices.

I think Teppan Edo can be considered reasonable. It was great fun and food. Coral Reef was excellent but probably doesn't fall under the "reasonable" category as it's a little pricey. DD13 and I ate there twice on the DDP and DXDP and loved it both times. Le Cellier was ok, but not good enough to stress over trying to get the ressies. I can't vouch for any of the others but I do want to try Marrakesh on our next visit which will not be soon enough.

I don't consider LC any fancier than any of the other Epcot restaurants. It is more expensive, especially if you want steak. With the exception of Bistro, all Epcot restaurants allow theme park attire.

Our favorites are Rose & Crown, Teppan Edo and LeCellier.

I agree with the previous posters about the San Angel. Good food and a great place to cool off.

The French Menu @ Chefs
$19.95

Soupe a l' oignon gratinee - Onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese

Croque monsieur et sa salade verte - classic French toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a green salad

Creme brulee - vanilla creme brulee and a madeleine


LeCellier is not fancy at all, but it's overpriced and overrated.

Biergarten is $20 for lunch and it's a buffet with some entertainment.

I like Marrakesh, it runs $18+ for lunch. Rose and Crown has a sandwich combo and fish and chips that are in the $12-$15 range.

In all honesty, I prefer eating at Tangierine Cafe for lunch - it's a CS but with ample nice seating and fantastic food. Cheaper, too!

We like Nine Dragons and Rose & Crown. They are both really good and (more) reasonable.

To DH, $20 is not a reasonable affordable meal for a family but, we like The Biergarten of the "reasonable table service meals". We go for lunch and then don't need supper because we ate too much.
