We will be going the first week of January & were lucky enough to get a free pin code for free quick dining. In your opinion, what are the best places to go for dinner in each park, and also DTD? I have 2 college boys, they have fairly big appetites, not huge. My husband & I don't need big meals. Wondering where best variety & value is? Thanks so much!

MK Columbia Harbor House
Epcot Sunshine Seasons is big
DHS never done CS there so I can't help
AK Flametree BBQ
DTD Earl of Sandwich, and alot of people like Wolfgang Puck Express

I agree with the PP. We ate at Columbia Harbor House. We went at dinner time and it was extremely quiet there...we ate upstairs. The people that worked there were REALLY nice and the food was good.

My DS14 and DS12 loved Sunshine Seasons. We actually ordered 2 chicken meals and shared them and my picky boys liked it so much that they asked me if we could go back, so we ended up eating there twice.

I really liked EoS at DTD. We picked up sandwiches there to bring on the plane. Wolfgang Puck Express is also a great value for your money. You order your food at the counter they serve it to you at your table.

We did not eat CS at DHS or AK.

Columbia Harbor House in MK huge and yummy shrimp and coleslaw (we ate at Pecos Bill's too, one of us liked it)

Epcot:
World Showcase: Yorkshire Fish Shop (lots of variety throughout WS in counter service so everyone can try their own favorite, plus with snacks you can certainly fill up, with 2 snacks per person per day the French bakery is a MUST)
Future World Sunshine Seasons, lots of choices.

AK: Just had a snack there.

DHS: I think it was Rosie's?? Blechhhh. Hamburger buns harder than my head, but the coleslaw was good.

ps look at the menus on here and/or Allears.net. See the choices and the reviews which I found helpful.

Agreed with others!

AK- FLAMETREE! Definetly best qs food and you get a lot! Check out the menu!

DTD- Wolfgang Puck Express. Last trip I went on was with all 20 yr. old boys, and they were even completly FULL after eating there. We did leave a small tip though, because they do have people coming around cleaning and asking if you need refills.

MK- Either Pecos Bill or Cosmic Rays, Cosmic Rays has some actual meals at it, and both have toppings bars so you can add as much stuff to your burgers, nachos, etc.

Epcot- Sunshine Seasons, has tons of variety and again nice portions! They even have a great selection of dessert to choose from. Our other little favorite spot is Tangierne Cafe in Morrocco. If you're up for trying new things this meal include chicken/lamb, hummus, cous cous, pita bread, some little yummy salad that I can't remember the name of...check the menu ! But it's all reallly good and you will feel very full after!

DHS- as far as I'm concerned..it doesn't seem like there's much there...so we never ate there!

HAVE FUN!!

MK: Starlight Rays b/c it doesn't feel claustrophobic
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons for the lots and lots of healthy choices
DHS: Nothing stands out but Pizza Planet is okay
AK: Flametree BBQ
DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express

MK: Cosmic Rays (Variety is huge) They have almost everything you can find around the park when it comes to quick service and its the only place that has ribs or QS which is why DH loves it :thumbsup2
Epcot: The world show case would be your best bet. Why eat the same things you can eat all over Disney. Epcot is the best place to go beyond the usual when dining at WDW. Our favorites are Japan and Paris (Le Patisserie) which have desserts, but also really good sandwhiches and right before entering the WSC you can get fried shrimp thats really good!
HW Studios: ABC Commissary. Its indoors, nice and refreshing and has burgers, sandwhiches, tenders.
AK: Flametree BBQ/Restaurantosourus

I hope you enjoy! ;)

Ohh I forgot DD: We like Wolgang Express, Earl of Sandwhich and Pollo Campero is good ;)

MK: Columbia Harbor House for the food, Cosmic Rays for the variety

AK: Blech. to all of it. Restarauntasaurus if I had to choose. Lots of people recommend Flametree, but we ate there once and hated it.

DHS: Fairfax Fare (Ribs, Chicken, Brisket), and Starring Rolls has good sandwiches, but not much selection (great cupcakes though)

EP: Geez, pick a country! We like the new Mexico Counter Service on the water. Sunshine Seasons is OUTSTANDING! Lots of variety. Last year I went to the bakery there and asked which one of the two entire cases of desserts qualified as a "dining plan dessert". When the lady said "all of them" I almost had a seizure.

DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express is our arrival day lunch tradition every year, and we always eat there at least twice! The food is outstanding, and it's hard to believe it's a counter service. You order at a counter and get your own drink, but your food is brought to you and the server comes to refill your drinks and check on you. Love it!

AK: Lots of people recommend Flametree, but we ate there once and hated it.

DHS: Fairfax Fare (Ribs, Chicken, Brisket)

Can you (or anyone else) compare and contrast the ribs and chicken at FT and FF? I've eaten at FT plenty of times and am considering FF next week for the first time. When we are at DHS, we usually just eat lunch wherever we happen to be when we are hungry, and based on my touring schedule, I am guessing that we may be in the vicinity of FF when lunch time rolls around. Is FF really quite different from FT?

For Animal Kingdom (AK) we ate at the Yak & Yeti quick service. My wife and I both had the honey chicken and we ordered an egg roll for our 3-year old son. As we were on the Dining Plan, we really liked the fact that for the dessert, we could order the frozen lemonade.

Pecos Bill was great for a burger in MK as well, as others above have mentioned.

DTD: Another vote for WPE in the Marketplace:thumbsup2.We usually eat there 3 or 4 times on our trip even if paying OOP. Cookes of Dublin is also good.
MK: Columbia Harbour House
EPCOT: We usually eat at a TS in the WS or walk over to the ESPN Club.
However I've heard good things about Sunshine Season from friends.
