Best Quick-Service Outside the Parks

We'll have an evening on arrival day that we're not really doing anything. What are the best quick-service dining options for Downtown Disney or any of the Disneyland resort hotels?

For quick service in DtD I would have said Earl of Sandwich, but alas, it was closed for the new hotel construction. RIP :-(

Tortilla Jo's has a taqueria that is quick service and is very tasty. Naples (pizza) has a quick service option too, but I haven't tried that.

As for the hotels, White Water Snacks is probably my favorite quick service. They have really good nachos (among other things) and the atmosphere is very laid back and quiet. You can sit outside and see a bit of the bustle from inside DCA.

One of my favorite QS restaurants is Tangaroa Terrace at the DLH. I prefer the lunch/dinner food options greatly over WWS, and if you want to check out Trader Sam’s - it’s right there.

The Coffee House at the DLH also has dole whips including an option with rum. The Coffee House does close at 6pm though just so you know.

We like Tortilla Jo's, especially the table side guacamole.
Another favorite is Trader Sams at the Disneyland Hotel.

For quick and easy, WWS. Never seen Joe's or Sams to be as efficient with reasonable food. But a fun adult place for those who are.

There's also La Brea Bakery Express (on the left side of the La Brea building), which offers quick service sandwiches, personal pizzas, and such.

We have enjoyed the quick service counters at Ralph Brennan’s and Tortilla Joe’s but were NOT impressed with the quick service at Naples. Stood in line for like 20 minutes for a cold slice of pizza. If your off day is on a “busy” day I would recommend reservations at for TS, eating at an off time, or going offsite!

Whitewater Snacks in the GCH. Sitting on the patio peeking through the fence into DCA to watch the people scurry by while munching on some good food. You can take food back to your room too for later. They have premade stuff as well as made to order.

You can order Panera before you go and have it ready when you get there.

I always like to eat at La Brea Bakery Express (quick service is on the left) - made to order & nice patio (always feels secluded & a break from the madness).
