we are heading to the MK for a day in February and plan on taking our own food in like we did last year. However, my dad is coming and he is diabetic so I am looking for a late lunch idea as he
will need a real meal. suggestions??

One I would not suggest is The Plaza, we ate there last trip and thought the food was sub par compared to all the other resturants we ate at cali grill, crystal palace, tusker house, CRT, capn jacks, 50s prime time, hollywood and vine. The Plaza was the worst, followed by hollywood and vine.

We love Liberty Tree Taverns lunch menu. The choices are nice and it is very relaxing there. Not wild about the family-style dinner so timing is everything when you are thinking about a late lunch and a table service meal.

The Plaza is a good choice. Their menu is simple and very inexpensive. It is a very good place to relax if you want a table service. Most report a very good experience.

Columbia Harbour House is a good counter service choice.

Happy planning!

I agree with Columbia Harbour House for Counter Service. Pecos Bill is also good.

For counter service meals I really enjoy Cosmic Rays (which has a great selection of meals) or Columbia Harbour House. :)

Columbia Harbour House is my favourite CS in MK, the food is delicious and I love the actual place too. Cosmic Rays is great for selection.
I don't know if you're looking for a TS, but The Plaza is excellent. The food is wonderful and inexpensive, and I've always had great service in there.

thanks everyone! will print their menus off and let my dad decide! we didnt eat any food at disney other than snacks so had no idea where to start!
