Hello

When me and the family visit the disney parks during our holiday next year, I just want to know what would be the best questions to ask and what compliments to say for the characters?

If you have any good ones that made great or funny reactions on previous visits, feel free to share.

That list of Kenny's is soooooooo cool, my boys have just had a look at it and declared that they plan on having a whole lot of fun with the characters

Here on the DIS, we have a pirate friend named Kenny, who has a wonderful website full of fun stuff about characters, resorts and so on

here you are : http://kennythepirate.com/disney-world-character-schedules/character-interaction-ideas/

Thanks guys! I also have an info graphic of poses you might try with Magic Kingdom characters. I'll work on the parks soon.

When we were in seeing Repunzal and Snow White my granddaughters were wearing their Elsa dresses I had made them. The oldest told them "grandma made them" , I said yes " the queen, made them"Snow White was very honored to meet a queen, she had never met one before. Repunzal bowed to me. It was funny.

Our kids had a ball singing and wiggling their bottoms to shake a tail feather song with Donald Duck
Daughter took her hand away when goofy tried to give her a high 5 so he put his hand up really high so she would have to jump.

My DS asked Cinderella to dance which made for a REALLY cute pic. He's only 7 but he looks about 12 and he's been dancing since nursery age so I think she was suitably impressed! He also taught Aurora how to pose coz be said she wasn't doing it right... oh yes and he started singing "A Spoonful Of Sugar" to Mary Poppins who then joined in which was pretty cool and asked Ariel if she was really a fish! Lol! Think the best ones are the ones which aren't planned coz we certainly never planned any of that but PhotoPass photographers were on hand and captured the whole thing which was AWESOME! :) x

Hope you have FPs booked for Anna and Elsa for your upcoming July trip now more spots have opened up as he would really love them. :)

Welcome back! You must be getting excited now :cool1:

You previously promised us photos, but you forgot about us

Unplanned interactions are usually the best as the characters are more "up for it"

DD has played hide & seek with Tink:

Played chase with Goofy:

Chip and Dale played hide the toy:

And even before DD DH & I had some fun with Chip & Dale and I have some great photos but I am not putting them up as its from 2006! :rotfl2:

Probably Goofy and Chip & Dale are the easiest ones to "play" with. She has also bounced with Tigger more than once! :goodvibes

Unfortunately, we've had to cancel our upcoming trip in July. DH had an accident recently and fell 8ft onto concrete leaving him with a spinal cord injury and his right leg broken in 6 places. He's going to be in a wheelchair permanently so we're trying to deal with that (hence my absence from the DIS boards for a while). I'm going to take the trip in Oct I'd planned for me, my mum and DS giving DH time to get used to coping with everything given his newfound disability before we go. Part of me is gutted as you can imagine but such is life and we just have to deal as best we can. Best wishes to all! X x

There's a surprise.

I agree about the unplanned meets, our best have been in the parks rather than at meet and greets.

We have had some amazing character interactions with DD. We never plan anything to say to them she comes out with it all in her own. Playing hide and seek with Peter Pan was pretty cool, she has had a ride on Plutos back, when she was 6 months played on the floor with Stitch, Rapunzel has told her about growing her hair which we still talk about every day, singing with Ariel.

We have had other amazing interactions due to her costumes as well Wilderness Explorer, Miss Incredible and Mickey Mouse.

I'm thinking of starting collecting some pins on a lanyard for the holiday next year. I heard you can get some great interactions with the characters if you have a pin of them.

My DS5 got a great reaction from Aladdin and Jasmine last October when he told him the following joke.... "Why did Aladdin go to the haunted mansion? Because he was trying to find Aboo!" :-)
