Best QS in DHS?

Two quick questions about Starring Rolls:

1) Do they have a kids menu? I'd be all for there if my kids can get the same yummy desserts as the adults :)

2) Are there any other CS places nearby? Would it be possible to get the food there to-go and then bring it somewhere else?

We have taken food from there and ate at the Commissary - it's huge and has AC. We also like the burgers at the Commissary - standard Disney, also the BBQ at Fairfax Fare.

Looks like they have a kids meal for uncrustables, apple sauce & milk. I'm assuming that doesn't include dessert other than the applesauce but kiddos could use a snack credit (or share yours- they're HUGE) http://allears.net/menu/menu_srb.htm

We missed Starring Rolls for years... literally YEARS!! We used to dread going to DHS/MGM because the food was so bad. I finally had come to terms with the chicken ceasar wrap at Studio Catering and then we read about Starring Rolls! YUM! It's now our only stop at DHS and I actually look forward to eating there.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a place nearby. The closest CS may be the little outside place by Tower of Terror (Fairfax Fare?).

The answer to your 2nd question is yes, you can take it somewhere else. My kids are not much into sandwiches and while my husband took the kids down to the seating area around fairfax fare because there was a better selection for them down there I got our meals from Starring Rolls. I just walked out of Starring Rolls and carried my tray down to that seating area. It wasn't that far at all.

thank you all for the suggestions and ideas. As a few have stated we have noticed the very bad reviews threw out DHS, and that's a big reason I asked for suggestions. We are just going for the day so no dining plan.

im thinking either Studio Catering Co. or Starring Rolls Cafe but im not sure which.:confused3 i am a very picky eater and i hate red peppers&onions. & my mom can't have pork. i heard alot of good stuff about SRC but i also heard that the sandwiches go quickly & when we have 2 eat we NEED 2 EAT. so if they r all out @ SRC it will b a problem 2 go all the way back 2 SCC
