Best Publix from MCO to Bay Lake Tower

Not sure where to put this. Does anyone know which Publix would be the best to go to from the Airport on the way to Bay Lake Tower?

We always stop at the one just off 417 on John Young Parkway (South). Of course the real motivation is to have a quick stop at the Rita's just North of the store.

We typically take 528 to 4 to WDW, and like stopping at this one, close to the airport (and convention center).

It is right off of 528 before you get to I-4, extrememly easy off/on the highway. Smaller Publix and never really that busy.

We usually take the 417 route and go to the Publix on International Drive when we get off at exit 6.

If you want a Publix supermarket between MCO and Bay Lake Tower, the one that requires the least extra driving and saves the most time is this one just off 417.

Check the route with Google Maps or Mapquest.

Because 417 is a toll road, you can expect to pay an additional toll (beyond the two $1.50 tolls). I think it will be an extra 50 cents to reenter 417 at Landstar after you shop. Have some quarters ready (if you're not using a transponder or your rental car company's license plate toll service).

From there, it's another 25 minutes to Bay Lake Tower, so bring an insulated bag if you plan to buy any frozen food.

There are bunch of other Publix markets, but they all require bigger detours.
