The title pretty much says it all :goodvibes

DD will be 6 and really wants to eat with the princesses!

Akershus in EPCOT. Loads of princesses and they take time to really visit with you. There is also 1900 Park Fare, if she is a specific "Cinderella" lover...stepsisters, stepmother and dancing with Prince Charming. :thumbsup2

I would go with Akershus in Norway at EPCOT There are usually five princesses or leading ladies, there is a photo package included with the price of the meal or was when I went) and it was the only time we actually got our picture with Ariel. When me and DH went is was Ariel, Belle in special room for Photos, Jasmin, Cinderella, and Aurora and one time Mary Poppins made an appearance. We have eaten there in twice. I would not suggest Cinderella Royal table it was overrated to me and I had much more enjoyable experience at Akershus.

vs CRT is a common question.

I think there is something special about eating in the castle. It's also convenient if you want to do Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Having things like the carousel for a little girl to ride on after she has gotten dressed up and made up is a bonus.

Askerhus and CRT have the same set up. There is a greeter (always Cinderella at CRT) with whom the photos are taken. Both locations have a photo package included in the price. There are four princesses and/or leading ladies at the meal moving around the meal for pictures and autographs.

We have done them all when it comes to Princess Dining.

Even though others have recommended Akershus, and we loved it too, it really doesn't compare to a couple of others: CRT and 1900 Park Fare.

For CRT, the castle setting just can't be beat. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but that's just how supply/demand works. If it weren't great, there would be less demand, and lower prices. Two times we have gotten the very first lunch reservation and it has been perfect. Not only is there no waiting to get in to see Cinderella, but the dining room doesn't have a busy feeling to it. Last time we were there they changed how they let people into the restaurant, making it MUCH less busy as you exit. Less busy enough that Cinderella didn't have anyone waiting to see her, so she gave a personal escort out of her castle to one of our girls.

For 1900 Park Fare, again, the very first dinner reservation is a good idea. If you arrive extra early you have a very good chance of being the first one waiting by the door and have a very good chance of a personal escort into the dining room by Cinderella and her Prince. Only happens once per night. Then, once per dining block, Cinderella and her Prince will come out to dance together. Be ready to have your little princess near her and she will have a personal dance with Cinderella. Most diners don't know this will happen, we didn't the first time, so there will be little to no "competition" to this special dance.

You certainly can't go wrong with Akershus, but in my opinion it is there for meet and greet purposes only and there are really none of the special "extras" that make the other places special. The princesses do take their time (no more than CRT though, in my opinion) and it's great to meet them all and get pictures. The ADRs here are also easier to get.

We LOVE Akershus in Norway, we always make a reservation before the park opens on our first full day (a family tradition of ours). We love the food, the atmosphere, and the princess interaction seems to be better here than at CRT. Don't get me wrong, we do like CRT only because we really enjoy eating in the castle, if it wasn't for that, we would probably stay away.

Akershus dinner is the favorite at our place by everyone. Last time we were there we saw, Belle, Snow White, aurora and Cinderella. 1900 Park Fare for dinner is good too to see Cinderella, her step sisters, step mother and Prince.
