we're in the very beginning stages of planning an October trip to WDW with our daughters - they'll be almost 2 and almost 5 at the time. What is the best princess meal or event? DD loves Jasmine the best out of all the princesses. Is there anywhere we can go to guarantee seeing her? and even if not, what else do you recommend? TIA!

With my princess, I am going to try and take her to CRT & Akershus to see the princesses in Sept/early Oct. As for Jasmine, she *may* be at Akershus, Morocco in the World Showcase in Epcot, & in the Princess tent in Toontown. Have fun!

Welcome to the Dis!! Lots of good info here!

I think the meal at Akershus is a total gem!! You get a photo package w/the meal too -- pic w/Belle, and if you are on the dining plan, it is a total value at 1 TS credit.

We did the breakfast in Sept and did a photo w/Belle and met Aurora, Mulan, Jasmine, and Mary Poppins. The princesses were very friendly and actually did pics, autographs and chatted as well. A few even came back to see some of our party that was at the koldbord. Very friendly, beautiful and good at talking to shy children and boys!

This upcoming trip we are braving a Norwegian dinner in the hopes of meeting Ariel.

We have often seen Jasmine in Morocco and the Flying Carpets in MK....this was the first time we got to meet her, and she was wonderful!

We have seen Jasmine on both of our trips to Akershus for the princess Breakfast

Here's another vote for Askerhaus for breakfast. We saw Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White and Mulan.

Akershus breakfast is great for princesses! We saw Jasmine and Aladin in Morocco Epcot in the afternoon - but they had a long line waiting for them. I'm a great fan of the character buffets, no waiting in the sun in line, and great interaction with the kids!

Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie are also available throughout the day at The Morrocco pavilion in world showcase at Epcot

I'm just going over this info with MIL and SIL for our family trip in Sept. Cinderella's Royal Table is pretty special, but hard to book and expensive. If you're on the dining plan, it's two TS credits, which I think is steep. If we do that meal, I think it's smarter to pay out-of-pocket and save the two TS credits for two actual TS meals.

The Norway location is very good, too. We had some wonderful customer service there last Sept. However, we were there for lunch, and the buffet had some unfamiliar foods that my kids were picky about. Both this meal and CRT during an earlier visit had Jasmine in attendance, though I know this is not guaranteed.

I've not been to 1900 Park Fare for the Cinderella Dinner (no Jasmine) but I have been there for lunch. It is SO LOUD in that venue that it was kind of a stressful meal. You had to shout to be heard and that just added to the din.

Have SO MUCH FUN!
