Best price to fly to Hawaii?

looking to fly from Toronto to either Maui or Oahu this July. Cheapest I can find is ~ $375 pp one way. Has anyone seen better prices?

That is not a bad price for July, but I would wait a bit.

There are so many factors that go into it - the worldwide price of fuel, how many airlines have regular routes (Southwest is starting to fly there next year), surplus seating for certain days, etc.

For the last 4 years or so, it has been very reasonable to fly from Toronto and Vancouver. There have been great sale prices as low as $500/per person/round trip from YYZ and even less from Vancouver (obviously). We got a great deal on airfare to HNL from YYZ on Black Friday 2015 of just over $500 on Air Canada, our total bill was $2200 for four people round trip.

Check out the ITA Matrix and download the Hopper app and just be ready to pull the trigger. I think it is safe to say that you could easily find YYZ to HNL for about $575-$625 per person round trip and $600-$700 YYZ to Maui (or less)

July is a very, very popular time to go and if Aulani is part of your plans you might want to look at renting your DVC points soon (I use Davids ) because even though it is before the 7 month mark and you will pay a little more, it will still be less than booking directly through Disney.

I would wait a bit longer. We went to Maui in May 2016, family of 2 (2A2C) direct from Vancouver, bought our tickets during Black Friday 2015 and paid just under $1500 all in.

We went to Maui in Aug 2016 and flew Westjet from Toronto via Vancouver and flights were $500 a person (family of 4). We booked in February.
