Best pools?

Regarding ONLY the surrounding hotels at DL, i.e., Harbor Blvd, Katella, Garden Grove, etc. Which hotel would you consider has the best pool? I know that the onsite hotels have wonderful pools but they are way off my budget, and a pool is a big consideration for me. Can anyone give their suggestions? I will be there 7/30 to 8/4 and I would love to swim a little each day. TIA

Marriott

You can get good deals on this Marriott at times, It is a combines indoor outdoor pool of decent size.

Can you walk to DL from this hotel? I know they have a shuttle but I'd just like to know whether its walkable? Thanks for your reply!

It is walkable (Convention Area) - but not the closest.

I did a quick search and did not find any over the top great rates.

year2late, I found on getawaytoday.com a rate of appx. $122.20 per day (for 5 nights/6 days) they have packages but since I have ordered my theme park tickets already I deducted it from the package and I came up with $611 for the five days, is that too expensive for this hotel? It seems like a beautiful hotel, I was just wondering whether it was convenient to the Parks since we won't be renting a car. What do you think?

I'm happy to report that the HoJo's new pools are scheduled to open July 31st which the time I will be there (and its also my birthday) so I'm keeping my reservation at the HOJO! Thanks for all your help, you guys are TERRIFIC!!
