If we can go again this year, what is the best pool/resort for relaxing for an adult trip? We plan on more resort time this trip.

Dh and I just stayed at beach club in October and I absolutely loved the pool there. I spent 3 hours by myself in the pool and sun bathing while Dh took a nap in the room.

My DH and I have stayed at the Poly these last two years. We love relaxing by the quiet pool there.

We stayed at BLT, but there is a quiet pool by the Contemporary main pool as well, right on Bay Lake, so nice!:beach:

I would say AKL for a R&R resort pool time trip. YOu cannot beat the view and that resort is a WOrkd away from the Disney hustle and bustle.

The Oasis Pool at Poly
Paddock Pool at SSR
Luna Park at BWV
The pools at CR

We like the pools at the Swan/Dolphin, the quiet pool at BWI, the quiet pools at POR, and even, much to our surprise, the pool at the CR where we enjoyed the view over Bay Lake (even though the pool itself is plain it was never crowded nor chaotic like some of the more themed pools). Both pools at the GF can be lovely as well. I agree with Nancy56 that the AKL pool is really nice.

Overall, for adults only, we usually stay for at least part of our trip in an Epcot area resort. Access to World showcase in the evening is a big plus and the pools are as nice in this area as anywhere on property. Storm Along Bay is wonderful, but can be crowded and is spread out. Our choice is usually BWI or Swan/Dolphin.

YC, hands down. (I have stayed at most of the Deluxes.) I have stayed at the YC 2x now. It is much more "calm" than the BC. If Stormalong bay is to busy, use the YC leisure pool.

The Oasis pool at Poly and Uzima Springs pool at AKL are my two favorite pools and they're both great resorts for relaxing resort time. The lobby at Poly can be chaotic at times but we don't spend a lot of time in the lobby so that doesn't make a difference to me personally. Stormalong Bay at Yacht and Beach is awesome also but I think the others are more relaxing and quiet, although there is an 18 and up only hot tub at SAB (but the last couple of times we used it we found it to not be very hot unfortunately).

We did an adult weekend at Boardwalk Villas. Very nice, quiet and relaxing. Would do it again in a heartbeat. If we only had a overnight sitter. <sigh >

Looking back on our trips, the most relaxing pools for us were the pool behind BLT when we stayed there and the quiet pool at the Poly. The pool at Kidani seemed relaxing for others (but I was chasing a little one!)

We found the boulder ridge cove pool to be quite relaxing. Great themeing that feels tranquil. Less crowded than the Copper Creek Springs Pool and super close to Geyser Point. (:
