As a Christmas present I have planned a trip for just my DS 11 and I to go to Universal over MLK weekend..
He is a big Harry Potter fan. We are arriving in Orlanda late on Thursday (flight lands after 11) and leaving on Monday morning so we have 3 full days. Staying at RPR. So here is my question. I am thinking that Friday will be the least crowded day as the long weekend has not really started. Part of me thinks we need to get up and do the early entry to see WWOHP. On the other hand, by the time we get to sleep it will likely be after 1pm. So, do i get him up on a few hours sleep or do we sleep in and hope that the crowds are not too bad on saturday and sunday morning. Our breakfast at three broomsticks is on saturday at 10am so we could go to the early opening (8am) and try to do as much of WWOHP before breakfast. Another thought is that if we sleep in on Friday, we could stay to close and hope that the lines go down. Looking for thoughts or opinions from the experts. Thanks.
