We are 10 days and counting and i am curious about recommendations for parade watching. We will have our 6 and 4 year old so to them the closer to the action the better. If you can tell me where you think the best spot to watch each parade is it would be appreciated.

Here are my favorite spots:

MK- Liberty Square across from Sleepy Hollow

MGM- Near the beginning of the route by Star Tours

AK- In front of Island Mercantile near the pin cart

I can only give my opinion on the MK parade as I've seen parades there many many times, but the MGM I've only seen two times and I just saw AK's for the first time in December and they were all last minute decisions.

Anyway, I prefer watching the MK parade right on Main Street sitting on the curb. There nothing like having the Castle in the background. Also, by sitting on the curb there's no way anyone can try to get in front of you.

We stood in Liberty Square right across from Country Bear show this past December and although it was alright but I didn't like having no curb to sit on and a rope separating us from the parade route. We just felt it was much easier for people to try and steal our spot.

Now if I were going during a VERY busy time then maybe I would consider one of the less popular/busy spots but when it's off season, I prefer Main Street on the curb.

Some like being near the exit of MK if they need to escape MK quickly right after the parade as well.

I do have a question myself for all the MK parade veterans. Is there a less busy spot with a curb that we can view the parade in? I cannot remember for the life of me if there was a curb on the opposite side of us when we viewed the parade in Liberty Square. Thanks!

Magic Kingdom-right in front of castle, sit on stone benches facing the castle, someone from your party will need to go atleast an hour early to sit down with maybe bags next to them to save a second seat, the rest of your party will need to arrive no later than 30 min prior to parade start to avoid crowds and to make sure you get seats

Epcot- hands down watch illuminations from Mexico, sit on one of the two benches on the lakeside right after you cross bridge leading into Mexico, again one person will need to arrive atleast one hour early etc., I know this is not a parade but these fireworks are great and i have watched them many times from other locals and Mexico is the best, I dont know about the other parades
