Best Places to see Characters

Going second week of June with a 2 and 6 year old. Where are the best chances of seeing characters? Are there specific locations they stand in? Without the parade or royal friendship faire wondering where to look. Thanks!

Just be on the look out.... as I’ve seen via social media some different pop ups recently (village Belle by her cottage in magic, Mira royal detective & rescue Rangers by Indy at studios)

In Epcot, you can see characters near or around their typical greeting place. Elsa and Anna are in the garden outside their cottage. They come out separately. They will interact from a distance. I snapped a picture right as Anna was going back inside.

Character meals are also a great option. Although they are not currently meeting at the tables, they do interact with guests from a distance.

Am I the only one they doesn’t see a “schedule”?

Yes the cavalcades and socially distant Selfie spots and other pop ups are totally at random so not to draw crowds but if you know where a certain character ‘could’ pop up you could always wait it out

We just came back from a week with a big emphasis on characters for my 2 yo. MK and Epcot we had the best luck with actual characters. In Epcot we waited in Norway twice and maybe we got lucky but within 10 min, once Elsa walked out and later in the afternoon Anna did. Also saw Joy out twice by the imagination lawn.

In MK we hung out on Main Street by Tony’s and saw characters up on the train balcony probably every 15-30 minutes and when they came out they’d be out for about 10 minutes at a time. Saw the princesses multiple times (rotation of which ones were up there), Mickey and friends multiple times, Winnie and friends also multiple times. Saw the characters in the MK calvacade once up there (Peter Pan, Moana and others). For calvacades you can also watch from Main Street. The times listed in the app are when the first one starts in Frontierland so if you’re on Main Street add 10-15 min to when the first should appear. The last time listed in the app is typically the actual last one also.

Saw Poo with his butterfly net between the land and Imagination pavilion. Saw many around different ones throughout World Showcase.
While random, the cavalcades are your best option.

In addition to those already mentioned, at Epcot we saw Mary Poppins and Alice at different times in the UK pavilion.
