Best places to eat off-site

a few of the places that have mentioned we have in chi town.

one reason i hit sonnys last year, wanted to go to a local known place that i couldn't get back home.
maybe i will try the other bbq place that was mentioned here. i am always up for bbq.

We did hit the Tony Romas a few years back so I was thinking about that one. Glad to know it is still good as we remembered.

We tried Bahama Breeze 2 trips ago and the service was so terrible we left before our main dishes came out (that was how slow it was!) so even if that was an unusual occurance for them, I cannot say that I am all that interested in going back there.

Hmm, the website has always listed one in St Cloud, but I can't find it in our yellow pages. Here's one near Universal:

I have to agree, we love Sweet Tomatoes, and now we live just down the road from one.

And Bahama Breeze, we live across the street from the one in north Orlando, and we've been a few more times - always a great experience, so I'd try it again. It's not terribly expensive, it's in the average casual dining range - $10-$14 for most entrees.

Sweet Tomatoes (Soup Plantation in CA) offers a huge salad buffet with both ready prepared special salads and everything you could put into a salad. They have 5 soups daily, baked white and sweet potatoes, toppings, and muffins and focacia breads. They also offer 3 pastas and have fruit, pudding, and soft serve for dessert. We make sure to visit every time we're in Orlando.

We always make a point to go to the Chevy's at the Crossroads center... Tex-Mex is a favorite in this household!!
