Help im planning a trip with 15 of us. We want to do a few character meals, Im considering Chef Mickeys and Ohana - anyone have any suggestions or favorite places that they love. Please help!

Chef Mickey's is great. The biggest party we've ever been is 7 but I think you'll like it there a lot.

Not a Character meal, but Biergarten would be super fun with that many people. You could take up 2 huge tables and really have a ball.

Enjoy your trip!:goodvibes

we were a group of 15 in December. We loved Biergarten! Very festive!

They were also very accomodating for us at Ohana, Rose & Crown and 50's Prime Time. But Biergarten was our favorite!

We had 14 (including 4 children) a couple years ago. We at together at:
'Ohana (twice), CRT, San Angel Inn, Mama Melrose, RFK @AK, Fulton's Crab House, Restaurant Marrakesh.
The only places we were split up werer RFK and Mama Melrose, but the tables were near each other (not close enough for conversation though).

The only one I would not do again was San Angel Inn. Too crowded for a big party. We were squished in a corner, and the server was having a hard time with a party that big (I know, I did my days of waitressing, it could have just been that server)

First thing I thought of was Biergarten. You would only need two tables.

Hoop Dee Doo was great when we went a few years ago. They did have to split us into two tables, but the tables were next to each other. They brought someone from our group on stage.
It was the most enjoyment we've ever had at a WDW restaurant.

Ok heres another ? Im staying the Carrabeian Beach Resort, will I have trouble getting to Chef Mickeys or Ohana from there?

We find that Spoodles at the boardwalk is a good place for large parties...
Great food as well....

In my signature is a link to a web site that lets you select a starting point (CBR) and enter a destination. It will list transportation times.

I would ride the bus to MK.
CM is at Contemporary, so you could walk there or ride the monorail.
Ohana, you could ride the monorail or the boat.

We like to do is spend the day at MK, then ride the monorail to one of these places for dinner.

1900 Park Fare - great food - buffet style - silly entertainment - and you can all be seated together, and you can actually hear each other talking!! Great for a MK day! Do MK - take a boat to GF then the monorail back to MK then MK back to your resort!

Ok my family hates to spend a lot of time traveling around just to get food - anyone got ideas on the easiest character meals to go to close to the resort or in MK. My dd wants to do lunch with the princesses, any help where to go - I feel very overwhelmed!

For our wedding trip, we had a party of 15 at Rose & Crown, Liberty Tree Tavern, and the Rainforest Cafe at AK. All were very attentive and fun. I bet the Biergarten experience though really would have been super duper...!!!:flower3:

The good thing is that the Caribbean Beach Resort is pretty centrally located. The BAD thing is that while you won't have any trouble getting to the parks, getting from one resort to another is gonna involve some traveling.

If you're leaning toward 'Ohana and Chef Mickeys, then the best way is going to be to catch a bus to the Magic Kingdom, and hop on the resort monorail from there. If you have a car or cars, then I'd highly recommend just driving. 'Ohana only has character breakfasts.

For lunch with the princesses, you have options in MK and Epcot. Just MAKE RESERVATIONS as soon as the window opens!!!!!

The transportation website that a PP shared is really a handy tool. You are going to have to gently break this to your family: WDW is a biiiig place, and traveling is a necessary evil.

We did the princess lunch at Norway last August. The interaction was great, we took a beautiful picture and the food was excellent. We are planning to return on our next trip.
