Most TS places will offer you a brownie or ice cream or fruit. A few will have creme brule or sorbet or chocoloate chip cookies. A few might allow you to order a cheese plate if they have it. Unfortunately, that's about it. I consider this to be great considering it's more than anywhere else in the world, but if you're not a chocolate lover or can't have eggs or milk then you're limitted to just ice cream (soy or rice based) or fruit or sorbet. That's the position one of my kids is in. I hear that these days for dinner at 1900PF they bring out what I like to call the Chef TJ special dessert which is this huge tower that includes fruit, brownies, marshmallows, ice cream, cotton candy and chocolate sauce but I have yet to have this served to my kids (you might find pictures of this from the past at 'Ohana from back when Chef TJ used to work there). Oh yeah, the ice cream sundae at Kona includes cotton candy which is GF.
The delivery of cakes from Babycakes to restaurants is still in its infancy. We've had it done twice. The first was handled completely by the club level CMs at our resort who went to DTD to pick up the cake and deliver it to the restaurant at our resort where we were dining and the second was this past August but the folks at our resort had to go pick up the cake for us (we were again wanting it at a restaurant at our resort) because the folks at the cake line said they couldn't make a cake that fit our long list of needs. I would basically try contacting Babycakes themselves or contact the cake line of the resort or park you want to dine at to find out about a cake delivery if that's what you want. If you're going to DTD anyway then just pick up a box of mixed goodies.
You can also skip the dessert at the restaurant and get some kind of frozen treat (Itzkadoozie, frozen banana, pineapple bar, strawberry bar, Mickey ice cream) or popcorn afterward (if you're using a dining plan then I really do understand not liking this option; it's one of the many reasons dining plans just don't suit us any longer because my daughter can only eat so many scoops of ice cream).
If you'll be eating CS at your resort frequently then you might want to ask the chef about baking up some Kneads cookies. The chefs at Pop made up a batch of Snickerdoodle cookies for my daughter on our last trip. She loved them!! At resorts you might be able to ask if they'll order in Kinnikinnick muffins. At Pop one of the chefs got some of these in during our stay just to try them since he was at a food show and thought of us when he saw them (clearly we have good reason to love Pop Century).
