Taken my eye completely off the ball when booking this trip and will be in Orlando instead of Athens on 23rd

Any ideas were the best place to watch will be? Staying at POR and wont be driving.

Cheers!

I would of thought the ESPN club at the Boardwalk would be showing it, they had a fair bit of Sky Sports news items there back in January.

Claire ;)

Its on ESPN2 at about 7pm local time.

I agree with Claire that the ESPN Sports Bar is the best place.

There are lots of places on I drive and the 192 in Kissimmee also but possibly not ideal as you don't have a car.

Thanks.

I dont mind getting a taxi and it would nice to meet a few fellow reds and have a bit of atmosphere.

Although nothing can replace being there. I am gutted....

Looks like ESPN2 defaulted to UK time for its TV guide so should be live from 12.00pm Orlando time :) Just right for lunch and a few beers :teeth:

Claire ;)

Is Orlando 7 hours behind? Kick off is 7.45 UK time.

Yes, I will be up for a few beers :)

Doh! Sorry got a bit confused there as was thinking 7.45pm in Athens, it will be 2pm onwards so a late lunch :goodvibes

 As a Chelsea fan I am gutted but I cannot deprive you of wanting to see it on holiday (I would if my team had more practice on pens) anyway if you wanted more of a british atmosphere there is an all british bar and restaurant that has just opened on I Drive (opp Ripleys). It has 12 flat screen tvs plus a giant one, they have british beer on tap and have typical british meals (Simon covered this in A Brits Guide) look at www.bobssoccerworld.com for more info. Have not been there som cannot comment on what its like but if Simon has put it in then it must be good.

Thanks, that place looks great.

Was at the game on Tuesday and the atmosphere was great. Hopefully the final will be as good!

Hey God, is this your way of telling us that Rafa hasn't picked you for the Final squad?:sad2: :lmao:

Was waiting for that one :)

A couple of years ago, when we arrived at CBR, the valet guy was helping us with our luggage and mentioned to my husband that the "soccer" was on the TV in the room.....the next hour was spend with my husband and the valet guy watching the TV in our room, whilst DD and myself went to the pool!! I always smile when i think that we travelled all the way to Disney and DH spends the first hours watching Liverpool (he is a Man United fan!!).

That wasnt any old game either!!! Best night of my life :)

Wonderful game! :woohoo: Good luck for the final...

Bob's Soccer World looks very interesting - going to bookmark it for my bunch of footie fans. Thanks for the info... :thumbsup2 There's a US channel called Fox Soccer - we discovered it in Barbados and it shows games that Sky doesn't even show. My DH thought he'd died and gone to heaven... ;)

Hi everyone

As another English Liverpool fan who will be in Florida for the final (me and 3 mates are renting a villa in Highgrove just off the 192/27) I really have 2 questions if anyone could help?

1. Are either ESPN2 or Fox Soccer likely to be subscription channels only or should they be readily available to anyone with cable?

2. If I'm not likely to get it in the villa can anyone recommend any locations? I've tracked down the Fox and Hounds as seemingly the closest English type bar to the villa (about 16 miles) and wondered if anyone could recommend this or any others?

Cheers and come on your reds.

Mark

Hi,
Lucky for me I'm off to Athens:cool1: but for you I recommend a bar on the western end of the 192, I think it's called something like Beef O' Brady's (sure someone will correct me on that though). We watched the Super Cup in there in August '05:happytv: . Another cup for the reds :happytv:
Also the landlord is a manure fan so when we win it will be all the more special:rotfl2:

YNWA

if you want to see liverpool beaten 6-0 would recomend the espn bar.We watched Man United win there
