We're on the deluxe dining plan on February and I'm anticipating a lot of left over snack credits. Where do you like to use them? On what? And can it be packaged to take home?

We generally use up our leftover credits at one of the bakeries and/or at the resort on prepackaged snacks or baked goods. You can usually get the baked goods boxed up to bring home.

There is a sticky at the top if the board w a list by location of snacks:stir:

We had several snack credits leftover on our last day and used them on the pre-packaged rice krispie treats and other easy to transport snacks in the resort gift shop that we could bring home. Also keep in mind that you can use snack credits on things like bottled water too - I did that a few times, just to use them.

Oh I know, thank you! I'm just looking for everyone's favorite take home suggestions!

Rice krispies sound yummy! I want to avoid using them on things like water and bags of chips and stuff like that. I wanna get the most bang for my buck and get some yummy sweets!

Last time we were close to midnight, with a bunch of snack credits remaining and a very early departure. Do you know the candy store on the corner of Main Street right at the entrance plaza? Many of the items in the candy case (and throughout the store) are snack credits. Maybe not the best use, but we got squares of fudge, turtle candy, krispy treats, etc. They have one of the widest selections.

The Karamel Kuche in EPCOT's Germany is where we plan to spend any leftover snack credits this February. Besides the individual candies, the small caramel popcorn bags are considered snacks.

Having leftover snack credits to use is a great predicament to be in. Can't wait. :cool1:

As stated by another poster, go to the 2014 confirmed snack thread also under Disney Dining Plan for a thorough listing.

You can find "Minnie's Bake Shop" large individual cookies at the big shops in the parks (Emporium, Mousegears, etc.) and in most resort shops. They freeze well or keep in the fridge for a while. We often use those leftover SC to take some home, then take them out for a Disney fix when we need one. They are big enough for two to share.

Last year we went to Downtown Disney one of the last days of our trip and hit Goofy's candy shop. Quite a few of the special and made to order candies are 1 credit.

Our favorites include the Minnie Bake Shop large cookie and packages Goofys Co candies (gummy worms, sour patch mickeys, jelly beans, etc.). We came back with about 10 of them our last trip. And that's after I've learned to not be stingy with credits. Ex. really hot AK day, kids wanted a powerade so we used it.

Our trip in 2012, I had 13 left over... I got 13 bags of craisins and craisins trail mix from a stand at HS. We bake with Craisins a lot, so they were a good use of them. We made a lot of cranberry bread and cookies that next few months!

In 2010, we had over 10 snacks left over and a few CS meals too. At that time, they would let us swipe out 1 CS meal for 3 snacks or something like that. We got the Goofy's Candy Co fruit snacks - it was a string of 4 packets as one snack. DD had enough to give a packet to each of her classmates (she was in Kindergarten and had missed 6 days of school for the trip to Disney) and teachers as "souveniers". It was cute. Teachers each got a lei as well - DD got them when we went to the Poly.
