Were is the best place to sit on Expedition:Everest??? front back middle? Why? Also has anyone ridden it at night? What is it like then?? Any special tips for riding? Thanks?!

I just got back this morning from my trip and I was able to ride EE twice while I was there. The first time I sat in the very front and the second time I sat in the middle. I really liked the front. At the top of the hill, there is a pause before you move again. From the front side, I was able to see Spaceship Earth and Tower of Terror. What an awesome sight!! I was told that you could look over your shoulder and be able to see the Castle also. This would make this spot the only spot in WDW that I am aware of that you can see all 4 parks simultaneously.

Great ride! Starts off a little slow but it finishes strong. It isn't the fastest, tallest or anything like that but it has some neat twists that make it a really good coaster. Hope you enjoy!

I'm studing to be a Mechanical Engineer so this is kinda baised. I liked being in the very back because I could see the design of the rollercoaster and seeing how it worked much better than the middle. I didn't get to sit in the very front on my last trip so I dont know how that is.

If you can, try to ride it once in the very front and once in the very back. Both are quite different rides, the movement of the ride is different, the views and what you can see and not see are different. It's actually very cool.

I hope to ride that thing up, down, front, back, and sideways when I am there in October. Shoot... I'll hang on to the back car if they'll let me

Most times of the day, if you tell the loading CM that you (or a pair of you) want to ride in the front, (s)he will put you in another very short queue that is for the front seat. We did that a couple of times, and it just takes a few extra minutes of waiting.

IN the front!!!! feels like you are on it alone..and you get such a view, esp at the top where it stops..the back is a different experience too and very cool, I just thought the front was awesome!

Ihave ridden in the very front, the very back and somewhere in the middle.

I loved the front seat! The back was great too but the front just had that extra thrill for me! :cool1:

We will be going to disney in 30 days. And plan on riding everest more than a few times.Especially on magic days when they open early. :3dglasses

Count me in too Zippz D Dooda ::yes:: Can't wait till August...Hoping to ride it multiple times every day we're there. :cool1:

It is a great ride. I like the front because you get some good g forces while you are going backwards. I have not ridden toward the back yet but has been in the middle a couple of times.

After one ride at the very back of EE, I believe that the best place to sit is on the bench outside the exit area waiting for the rest of your party. :guilty:

We actually felt the g's more in the very back during the backwards part. We rode once in the front row which was cool, and once in the very back row. We really felt the g's going backwards and the drop better in the back.

In May we rode it a total of 11 times, 9 from the front 2 rows, 1 from the middle and 1 from the back. Back seemed faster but the view from the front is unmissable. It felt as though you were going to go over the edge...fantastic :thumbsup2

This thread has made me all excited, i wonder where we will get to sit in September... Hopefully front, back and middle.

!

From the *launching pad* of Summit Plummet - dont even need to get in line - you can see all 4 parks. :thumbsup2

First ride towards the front and it was great. I think the front seat would be the best for the total experience.

Second ride towards the back. While the physical ride was much more wild and fun, the visual of it was not. At times I felt critical to view, we were basically still in a "tunnel" and our view was obstructed.

If a first timer, I would want to be up front as close as possible, then do it again towards the back for a wilder ride.
