We have decided to sell our pins since they are just sitting around collecting dust. I found a pin traders website with a for sale board but there was a fee to sell. I can't imagine that it is worth it since I doubt my pins are worth tons of money. Is Ebay the best place to list them? Is there another site that others frequent? I haven't followed the ins and outs of pin trading in years so I am really not sure where the best place is. Thanks!

Try joining disneypinforum.com. There are no kinds of fees for anything and there is a sales board. Very, very nice people too!

+1 on disneypinforum.com! Great site with great users.

You should do some research on eBay first. You'd be surprised at what some pins sell for. You may have yourself a hidden gem.

I've been trying to find some of the pins we have on ebay or the forum recommended above and I am having very little luck.

I see a lot of people put a pin number down when selling. Is there suppose to be a number on the back of the pins? Mine don't have any numbers. I have some pins that claim to be limited editions. Some are LE out of 1000 and a few are out of 100 or 200. It seems like those might be worth a bit more but I can't find them online anywhere. I am assuming most of them will only sell for $4-$6 since they seem pretty common (character pins with nothing special on them).

The numbers come from the site pinpics.com. They have a catalog of basically every pin ever produced by Disney with a number assigned to each. The numbers aren't on the pin, they are only to reference the pin info from pinpics. You would have to do a search on that site to find them. If you have pics of the pins I'd be glad to help you find some of them.

Thanks so much! I have been able to find some of my pins on there.
