Can anyone share a good website that they've had pretty good luck with selling books on? Or if there is something I am missing, please share. I have a ton of books I'd like to get rid of and I don't care if it's a minimal payout. Thanks.

They are mostly Children's books. Thanks. I guess I should concentrate on decluttering.

Amazon is a good place to try, especially if they're in good shape. You may have some used bookstores in your area, which will give you cash or credit.

Kids books do well on my local Facebook marketplace. I mean, you’re not going to make a ton of money but at least you’ll get them out of your house. I sell them in bundles. All Dr Suess, Diary of a wimpy kid etc

I was a teacher before becoming a SAHM, and sold big lots of my old library on eBay a few years ago. I bundled similar genres and I probably made $.50/book on titles that weren't especially well known. I'd probably try to still bundle them and sell on a local Facebook page If I was selling a lot of books now.

Part of a yard sale? Selling online seems like the shipping (regardless who pays for it) would cost more then the books would sell for.

Ebay works but many books are basically worthless when sold individually. You'll sell them for $4-$5 (after months of listing) and net maybe $1 after shipping/fees. I would search on there (via ISBN is easiest) to see how much they're worth before listing.

If you have a bunch that are in that $4 range and similar theme, grouping together will allow you to sell them and net a bit more (shipping will only be slightly more). That is the tactic I'd take as it's better to sell 3 books for $8 to 1 person.

They can be shipped media mail which is relatively inexpensive (especially for items over 1 pound).

Some public libraries have book sales, and accept book donations for that purpose. If you don't have luck selling them, try calling your library to ask.

I don't think it's worth the time or effort to sell on Amazon. By the time you pay for postage, etc....how much are you really going to come out ahead? We sell books in our yearly neighborhood garage sales and people don't expect to pay more than a dollar for any book. Seriously. Most we sell for 50 cents and the books we sell are pretty current. You may want to search for stores that sell used books. They will probably be interested, but again they will only want it for 50 cents per book or less. I know this from experience.

Thank you all! I see the prices on Amazon and I know they don't go for much. I will try bundling since I own every theme and author.
