I will have my daughter's Minnie Halloween costume with us and would like to take her photo with Minnie while wearing it. I don't want her to wear it all day and we are not going to MNSSHP. Does anyone know the best places to catch Minnie? I know she has a trailer at MGM, but I don't know what times she's there. Is there anywhere else?

I've seen Minnie, in her regular outfit, just inside the gates at the Magic Kingdom. You have to get there when the park first opens and Minnie and Mickey are usually there to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Good luck and your little girl is a cutie-pie!

Thanks! We are going to MK and Epcot for sure. We will probably go to AK, but I don't want a picture with her in a Safari outfit. I've only been there once and didn't see any characters so I don't know, but I figured she would be dressed to match the part. I guess my best plan is to be there right when MK opens. Thanks!

Check at Minnie's house in toontown for a meet and greet.

When we went in Jan., we saw her in the character tent in Toontown in the Mickey's pals room. She is also sometimes in the gazebo behind her house in Toontown.

You can also do dinner at LTT. She is there and your daughter would be free.

She should be on the character bus at Epcot too.

We saw her just after 9:00am at Epcot. As the park was getting ready to open, the character bus came to the rope underneath Spaceship Earth. Just after official opening time, the characters were meeting everyone in the plaza between the innoventions buildings. Most of the park guests were heading for test track and mission space, so there was very little wait for any of the characters.

Minnie was in her red polka dot dress too!

Good luck!

That's where we saw her...in the meet & greet character tent...Mickey is the "man" and gets his own tent....but the other tent has Minnie, Chip and Dale together and Pooh characters and Cinderella and another princess.....be sure to check the character tent in TTF...i'm quite sure she will be there! (unless she is on break!)

Another vote for the Toontown Hall of Fame Tent. We have seen her in there on our last 4 trips. And as kkc1021 posted she is also on the Character on Holdiay Bus at Epcot. The times are listed in the Times guide that you get at the park.

Enjoy.

If you want to minimize the time your DD is in the costume, I'd second the suggestion of hitting a character meal. You never know what you're going to find at the impromptu meet and greets...the line could be really long by the time you get there and/or the character may have to leave before you depart.

At the character meals, you're guaranteed to get some "face time" with Minnie, and she'll most certainly make a big production out of the costume.

Just got back.
Saw Minnie at the character meet & greet at Toontown Fair & again at Chef Mickey's. She was wearing her polka dot dress both times. I am not sure if she is a "regular" at Chef Mickey's. But I highly recommend the dinner. It was great!

Oh yeah, Toontown opens at 10am. We were the 1st ones at rope drop & went to the meet & greet (next to Minnie's house) so we were one of the 1st ones in line. In fact, Cinderella was outside signing autographs & dd4 got to be the one who walked her back to the meet & greet area where Cinderella introduced dd to her friends Ariel & Minnie!! The line did not get that long until much later. It seems like Toontown was empty most of the time since it only really appeals to the little ones!

If you make it to MGM at any point in your trip, you can definitely see Minnie. There are several times throughout the day that characters show up around the sorcerer's hat for pictures and autographs. That's where we got the picture in my post. :)

I would suggest Toon Town like everyone else. My little tip is to ride the train. Toon Town opens later than the rest of the park by an hour, I think. If you take the train first thing, you don't have to walk through all of the people, and you get a chance to be one of the first ones there. There is a little playground that the kids can play on while they are waiting for Toon Town to open. We did this and we were the very first people in the tent. We had the chance to see them all in a very short time.

Great recommendation! We always ride the train into Toontown when we get to MK and start from the back that way.

First, we see Mickey in his tent, then Minnie (with Chip n Dale) and then Cinderella (with her mice friends, Perla & Suzy). If you do this early, wait times should be minimal and your dd won't have to spend much time in her dress.

Of course you could do a character breakfast but if you don't want to bother with that I would agree to go the Toontown route!

Of course you can do the meet and greet at EPCOT (Characters on Holiday) or at MGM. Minnie is USUALLY there.
