Do we need to purchase tickets in advance or at the door? I am wondering if they can be purchased at our resort. This will be our first visit. Any advise? :woohoo:

you can get them for a slight discount at ticketmania.com and depending upon how soon you will be going, if you have time you can sign up for a newsletter from mousesavers.com and can get even a bit more of a discount. But that newsletter comes out once a month on the 15th, so you would have to be able to wait until next month. but their prices are better that at the door.

Actually, Ticketmania has Disney Quest tickets at a substantial discount. The regular price is about $34, I think, and I got tickets for $20 from Ticketmania through the Mousesavers link. If you PM me your e-mail address, I will forward the latest Mousesavers newsletter to you. (This is allowed - I asked Mary.)

Update - I just double-checked the Ticketmania prices through Mousesavers. The regular adult price is $37.28, the discount rate is $29. (Boy, have they gone up! I just bought them for $21 last fall.) The child price is $30.89 and the discount price is $25.00. With the Mousesavers link, the discount prices are slightly lower.

I have a 13-year-old son who is a video addict, so Disney Quest was on our "must do" list during our visit last week. We ended up going to Disney Quest three times. (The things we parents do to keep teenagers happy!) I did the math over and over before purchasing our tickets and finally decided that for us, the best deal was to purchase six day one park tickets from Ticket Mania w/ 5 plus options. We used the plus options to visit the water parks twice and Disney Quest three times. We saved about $40 buying our tickets from Ticket Mania rather than from Disney. They delivered the tickets to our resort and at check in the tickets were added to our room key, so we didn't have to carry paper tickets to the parks. I calculated that one visit to Disney Quest at regular price would cost just about as much as it costs to add the "5 plus options" to our regular park tickets. My son was in video heaven at Disney Quest and the whole family enjoyed the water park visits.
