Sorry if this has been asked before, search function isn't working well for me.

I have heard good things about pro flowers but really wanted the flowers to come already arranged and in a vase. I read some bad reviews of 1-800 flowers but that may not mean anything...

Where have you ordered flowers from?

I don't use online services anymore. Many of them have changed to using FedEx to deliver now, instead of local florists. FedEx is just not reliable for home deliveries, at least in my area.

Now I Google for a neighborhood florist and call to order directly, so I know they know what I want. :thumbsup2

What I do is use an online yellow pages to find a local florist, and call the florist directly. I've had great service this way!

I always order my flowers from Hallmark. I am a loyal shopper. They are offering 20% off with code AP20. They are not pre-arranged but they do come with a 100% satisfaction guarentee. You can order online at Hallmark.com.

My brother ordered me flowers when I graduated from college from one of the online flower stores don't know which one to be delivered via fedex. Never saw them they said they delivered them but yet I never rec'd them. We think they might have given them to a neighbor which they had no record of they said they delivered them to my place but yet they couldn't tell me us who signed for them!

At least they refunded his money. I would go to a local store to have them shipped at least then you will know the person got them!

I can second the Hallmark.com suggestion... gorgeous flowers!

I'm glad you haven't had any problems and is nice that they have a satisfaction guarantee, but a refund is the least of my problems when I need flowers delivered on a specific day/time and they are sitting in some warehouse. Emergency flower deliveries are hard and expensive to arrange.

FedEx could care less if the flowers sit at their facility overnight or over the weekend. I've fought several battles over this. While Hallmark, FTD, 1800 all appear to guarantee a delivery date, they don't and neither will FedEx.

If you want flowers delivered on (or by) a certain time, call a florist.

I have never had a problem. The day I want them delivered is when they are delivered. They have never been stuck in a warehouse. I do not know if others have had the same experience. Maybe I have just been lucky? :confused3

1-800... awful! I had ordered from them alot and once needed flower fast for the birth of my grandaughters. I went to the store picked from the book an arrangement. Large, white roses, beautiful basket, $100.00. They took the order and told me I could pick in up in an hour. When I went back the flowers were awful! No roses, while carnations, plastic basket(think cheap easter basket) and half the size of the picture. They couldn't understand why I had a problem with it. They told me they didn't have the basket in the picture so they substituted....HUH... I ordered it an hour earlier. I walked out without the flowers and filed a complaint with the BBB and the corporate office. They sent me a gift certificate for $13.00 for my trouble. Uh, no thanks! Made me wonder what the heck had been sent to those that I had ordered in the past.I use local florists now.

I have always ordered from Hallmark or ProFlowers. Never a problem from either. I once ordered from FTD, OH What a Mistake!!! They delivered the flowers 1st time, looked dead, 2nd time still awful, 3rd time a little better but not great. They refunded my money after 3rd time. That was not the point this was for Mothers Day a few years ago, and she lived 900 miles from me at the time. I was so upset. Anyway, everytime I ordered from Hallmark or Proflowers they were wonderful. Both are running specials right now also. Good Luck. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Definitely Hallmark.com - all ties to the company aside, they do take a lot of pride in keeping the flowers on the plant until the last possible moment so that the flowers arrive as fresh as they possibly can. I sent my mom a rose arrangement and it stayed fresh for over 2 weeks! As long as the follow the directions and cut the stems prior to vasing them (they are sent dry packed), I'm sure they will love them. :)

Here's a link Hallmark Flowers

I also recomend Hallmark. The flowers I've sent were raved about and they send a full size regular greeting card with the flowers... a nice extra touch. :thumbsup2

Another vote for Hallmark.com. We've used them several times and a bonus is that you get Hallmark Gold Crown points! Their flowers are beautiful and last a very long time...prices are reasonable too.

I used 1-800-Flowers several times, mostly for Christmas centerpieces. They were beautiful and delivered exactly when I had selected. I have no complaints at all with them.

Just got beautiful flowers from DH from Proflowers-------gorgeous and a follow-up call from the co. reminding us of the guarantee. Very nice. (unless of course, you were sending them to someone that you didn't want the person you live with to know about ;) )
