Hi,
We are taking our first trip to WDW Thanksgiving week and I wanted to know the best place to see the princesses? Are they all walking around the park or would it be better to eat at a place (we are only eating lunch at the parks)that has the princesses. I would like my daughter's pictures made with them...where is the best place to do that?

Thanks!

They can be found in toontown tent but the line can be 90 minutes or longer. I would go w/ having breakfast at Akershus for a variety of princess and dinner at 1900 w/ cinderella, prince charming, fairy godmother, and suzie and perla. I would do the meals only b/c you don't have to worry about getting into a long line or possibly being told that they are going in and then if you catch them in the parks and its not any trouble then you've seen twice occasionally they are not alone.

When we were there last month here's where we found the princesses and how long the waits to get pics with them were:

Snow White: ToonTown tent, 10 minutes
Cinderella, Aurora, & Belle (all one line): ToonTown tent, 15 minutes (soon after opening....other times we checked the line was over an hour long)
Ariel: Ariel's Grotto at MK, near Dumbo, 55 minutes (shortest wait we saw all week)

The rest we found at Epcot in the countries with very short waits:
Aurora: France, walked right up to her as no one else was around
Belle: France, first in line after arriving as she was leaving for a 15-minute break
Jasmine & Alladin: Morocco, 5 minute wait
Mulan: China, less than 5 minutes of waiting

We just got back - had dinner at Akershus in Epcot. We met: Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Ariel (on feet). You have to take your own pictures (except for Belle - she was the princess who greeted us and a photographer took our picture for a package they sell).

In toontown, you can meet the princesses - if you get there early enough, it will probably take you less time than a princess meal to meet several princesses. The plus side - better princess interaction (calmer and less chaotic than meals - also, no food on the face for pictures :) ) and photopass photographer with every princess. Also, no extra charge. The negative - you have to "waste" valuable early morning park touring hours to do this if you don't want to wait in really long lines.

The princess who greets you changes I don't know how often or when but in dec 05 we had ariel and aug 06 we had belle. the pic of my dd w/ bell in my avatar is from akershus.

I agree that Akershus is a good place to meet the Princesses. I guess it really depends on your budget too. We had a 8:30 ADR before EPCOT opened, and we dawdled just a little to get some great pics on the way. We saw Belle (who greeted us) Aurora, Jasmine (DH's favorite) Snow White, and Mulan (the friendliest). I wasn;t to osatisfied with the interaction as they very briefly spoke to DD's, signed an autograph, took pics and off they went. I think they might have spent maybe 2 -3 minutes at our table. Of course, my DD's weren't in full Princess coustumes only matching t shirts. I did notice that hte girls in costumes got a little extra attention. Mulan, though sh was great. Admired the girls matching "uniforms" just like when she was in the army, and spent about 5 minutes with them. My girls loved her. But like I said think about your budget and the fact that you can see them for free at EPCOT and Toontown in the MK. Oh, and technically she's not a princess but you can catch Mary Poppink in the OK at EPCOT. She's MY favorite.
