Hello!

My wife had a great California Adventure hoodie from years ago that she recently lost on a camping trip. :faint:

She wants one really bad for our upcoming trip in July. Two questions. One - is it cold enough at night in July for a sweatshirt? Two - where is the best place to find a reasonably priced hoodie?

The Disney Store and Amazon have hoodies, but they are $50+. There's a knock-off kiosk in the mall that sells Disney-themed hoodies for $35, but they look real cheap.

Any suggestions?

In this case, if the real deal is $50 and the cheaper, low quality knock-offs are $35, you just pony up and buy the real deal ;)

To answer your first question though, this week the temps are in the 70's in Anaheim even after midnight. I think you'd be hot in a sweatshirt.

Sadly, most of the authentic Disney hoodies runs about $55 or more. They have a wide selection at the main stores in each park and at the World of Disney in DTD.

In terms of weather, the average low is in the mid-to-low 60s in July. That might be light hoodie weather, but probably not for a thick one unless you get cold really easily.

I have gotten a great deal on hoodies at the Disney outlet stores. Just be careful, there are stores selling knockoffs. But there are genuine Disney outlets selling merchandise from Disney stores and the parks. I recently picked up a really nice hoodie for $20!

But I wouldn't wear a hoodie in the summer, it is just too warm. But I have quite the selection for winter, lol.

You might also want to keep checking the Disney Store site for a sale. They sell some park merchandise.

This! I picked up a great DLR hoodie for DD for half-price. It's not a huge selection but it pays to keep watching.

It really depends on the night - and right now we are in a heat wave. You would be uncomfortable in a sweatshirt outdoors, especially given that you will be walking around. However, some buildings and rides have the AC cranked up and ironically you may get chilly indoors.

Even if it is warm, it doesn't hurt to have the sweatshirt and just wrap it around your waist just in case.

DisneyStore.com has an authentic parks merchandise section and often they have free shipping on park merchandise.

But no, you won't need a hoodie there in July for sure.

As a anime lover I love to ware cartoon characters mens hoodies. I just ordered my new hoodie from styleuno.com. Got discount and wonderful piece of outfit.

This. On our trip last July, we woke up every morning to overcast skies and temperatures in the 60s. It was too chilly for me! Luckily I'd brought a hoodie for DS to wear on the plane, but I ended up dropping close to $75 on a hoodie at the Emporium for myself. By lunchtime it was sunny and hot, so we just threw the hoodies in my bag. At night it was cool enough for them again. It really depends on the weather.
