Best place to eat & watch the SEC game??

Help!! DH wants to see some of the SEC championship football game on TV while we are at WDW this saturday?? It's at 4opm...where can we eat dinner/late lunch to see any of this game??

We do not arrive until Sunday!!! Thank goodness- I have not missed a Gator game since 1990 when I lived and went to UF!!!! Go gators!!! We have watched games at the ESPNZone- but arrive early- they will let you stay at your table for the duration of the game. We watched Ohio State vs. Texas a few years back- my husband's only fault- he is a Buckeye!!!

Good luck on ESPN - it will be JAMMED for this game! You might want to try Big River or offsite - AleHouse on 535 or one of the sports bars close by. Good luck


OH FWIW - the ESPN club on the Boardwalk is NOT an ESPNZone - just an ESPN Club

I think you can get into the ESPN Zone if you go a little early. We've been there during the NBA finals before. You just have to plan to sit awhile. Great food, too!

I watched the FL/TENN gam at ESPN and it wasnt too awfully croweded. Problem is all the other big games that day will have the place packed all day. We got there 2 hours before game time and finally got a booth in the bar about 30 mins before kick off. The bar in the Poly has a big TV that I've caught a game on before also. I would say Outer Rim but its closed during construction, they had a lot of TVs there too. Oh and I cant forget.....

I was told that the big screen tv next to the Tambu Lounge at Disney's Polynesian Resort will be airing the UF vs Bama game this Saturday. Is there any way we can verify that this is actually going to happen? Last time I visited that lounge, I was waiting for my table at O'hana and there was an old big-screen tv that had poor reception. Not sure if it's still there, but I imagine they will be showing the game since it is on national tv.

I watched a couple games there over the years, and yea its an older model big screen, but I didnt have a problem with reception. Not a flat panel like the ones at ESPN. My guess however is that they will have that game on..
