Is there a new sit down reservation type restaurant in the new Pandora area? If so, do you think it was a good choice? Did you like the food, the atmosphere, the service? Where would you eat while visiting Pandora area? We tried Tuskers before and didn't really like it. The food seemed dry and the atmosphere was not much of anything. I appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks so much,
Pomcoach

The only restaurant in Pandora is Satuli Canteen and I do recommend eating there. It’s counter service though so no reservations necessary. Check out the menu and see if it interests you. Many have now said it’s one of the better counter services places in WDW now.

Satu'li canteen is awesome! You can get your food created as you want it. I highly suggest using the online ordering and skip the line. Saved us a lot of time. We will be eating there our next trip.

Just be aware that you cannot use mobile ordering (at any restaurant at WDW, not just Satu'li) at this time if a) you are using the dining plan and/or b) have food allergies.

At least in October, the only form of payment for mobile ordering was a credit card (no charging to the room or gift cards either).

Satu'li Canteen is so, so good!! It is now one of our very favorite restaurants on WDW - including TS restaurants. Really great food!

Totally agree with Satu'li Canteen being awesome!!

We ate there last June and loved it, all of us, even picky DD. I looked at the menu and thought, hummm looks healthy and different. It is healthy and different, but really good. Our new favorite QS at WDW for sure!

I agree with Tiffins, it's just outside the actual entrance to Pandora. We loved it and it's actually only one of two restaurants we have repeated in the last 10 years.

You guys are all so great with all the suggestions! I think we will try Satu'li Canteen and use the mobile ordering. Then we plan to share one of the pineapple cream cheese Lumpia at Pongu Pongu. I so appreciate all the help! Love this site! Such good people here! Much Thanks!

We just ate at the Satuli Canteen, which is the only place in Pandora that we saw to eat. I got the chicken with grains (which was 99% just rice). It was fairly tasty, but very dry.
We also ate at Tiffins one day on Discovery Island (right near the entrance to Pandora). It was very good, but also very pricey with small portions. I had the lunch swordfish ($28) and dh had the Wagyu sirloin and brisket ($53) We're both light eaters, but immediately afterward we both got hot fudge sundaes elsewhere.

I was a major skeptic when it came to dining at Satu'li Canteen, but I've got to say I was extremely impressed. And while my girlfriend loved the pineapple lumpia at Pongu Pongu for dessert, if you're like me and looking for something a little less bizarre, the chocolate cake at Satu'li is amazing.

We ate at Satu’li Canteen on both of our AK days a couple of weeks ago. We both had the chicken on a bed of greens. It was so nice to eat something fairly healthy!

Oh i totally agree with this. Satuli Canteen is DELICIOUS and definitely my fave counter service in WDW. I highly recommend eating there. For what its worth, i've eaten at Tiffins (which is right at the entrance of pandora) and I enjoy Satuli Canteen way more.

I ate the chicken with the potato and white herb sauce (sorry i dont remember the name). Its so good! And that colorful blue dessert is amazing.

Satu'li Canteen was hands down my favorite meal out of our 10 day trip that we just got home from. We literally made trips out to Animal Kingdom JUST so we could have dinner here (it helps we were staying next door at the AKL). We ordered the grilled chicken with grains and rice, and the chimchurri sauce every time. SO GOOD. The blue cheesecake and cheeseburger pods were also delicious!

Sa’tuli Canteen is easily the best meal I’ve eaten on Disney Property so far. I am in the middle of a disaster of a trip but this was very much a highlight. Wish I could get over there again.

I'm one of the few people that isn't all that impressed with Sa'tuli. I am not an adventurous eater, and the only thing on the menu that appealed to me was the kids hot dog. Don't get me wrong - it was a great hot dog! But it's a menu that's not for everyone. I would go to Tiffins or Nomad before Sa'tuli, but my fave at AK is still Y&Y.
