Best Place to eat at Poly?

We both really like the Poly but have never stayed or eaten there and are trying to fix that. We want to know where would be the best place to eat at the Poly? It would be for a nice dinner for 2 fun-loving adults with no children- yet. I've heard some poor reviews about the Spirit of Aloha show (food is blah but show is good) but it looks like it would be fun to see. 'Ohana's looks very romantic though. Which one has the better food? What kind of view do they have? Looking for honest opinions and experiences and what better place to turn than the Dis? Thanks for your help!

I would go with the show if you have more time, we are dong both again this year.

With just the 2 of you, I would sugest ohanas over the 2 probably

I'm not sure I'd use the word romantic to describe the atmosphere at 'Ohana. It may look nice but I guarantee you it is not a quiet meal for the two of you. There is lots of activity going on during the meal including things like hula hoop competitions and coconut races. Instead, give Kona Cafe next door a try.

Definitely Kona Cafe, one of the best Disney restaurants.

We did the luau and we thought the food was great and the show was good . Although we thought Ohana was good, we like Kona (at the Poly, too) MUCH BETTER!!! If you like steak, they have the BEST prime rib and filet .

I've stayed there about a zillion times and usually skip 'Ohana. It just isn't as good as the hype it sometimes gets on the DIS, IMO. The Luau is okay, but it isn't great and the food isn't really my cup of tea. If I were doing one dinner show, it would be the Hoop Dee Doo at Ft. Wilderness.

I eat most of my Poly meals at Kona or grab fast food at Captain Cooks.

If I had to pick just one, it'd be Kona.

Kona! For a romantic meal for sure. O'Hana can be a romantic meal if you guys do not mind noise and alot going on. Kona just has great food overall though. It is so good!
