We will be traveling with our 8 year old niece and 5 year old nephew on our next trip. I promised our niece we will eat breakfast with the princesses. She loves Cinderella but also Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. She is also a Jasmine fan. We haven't done any of the Princess breakfasts so please help me out making a decision? We are also hoping the Buzz breakfast becomes a reality.

They have a princess breakfast in norway in Epcot...but i dont think cinderella goes there the only places to find cinderella is CRT and 1900 PF at dinner

I personally think the Castle is overrated, so I would say 1900 Park Fare or Princess Storybook.

Jasmine can be found at PS in EPCOT.

If you want princesses then Norway Princess Storybook Meals are the place you should visit.

Mary Poppins
Sleeping Beauty
Snow White
Jasmine
Belle
Mulan
Ariel
Cinderella

There will usually be 5 princess in attendance.

The morning we were there it was Mary Poppins, Mulan, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Belle.

We enjoyed both when we went. Based on price I would say PSB in Norway, but eating in the castle has it's magic all its own. If you decide to go to PSB and Cinderella is not there, you can meet her in Toontown in MK, she is usually there with two other princesses.

We did both the castle and Norway. The castle for a breakfast and Norway for a dinner. Overall, the castle was better for us - the setting was just so cool for our daughters. The Norway dinner was OK - they actually had more princesses- jasmine, ariel, belle, sleeping beauty, cinderella, snow white.

My girls loved both, but they'd probably give the nod to the castle.

If you have a Cinderella fan, I vote for dinner at 1900. Our dd got LOTS of attention there, and dh and I really enjoyed the food!

We did the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare, a princess dinner at Restaurant Akershus, and breakfast at CRT. All had their virtues and their downsides.

Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare--
Characters: Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla mouse friends, and Alice in Wonderland in the lobby (usually Fairy Godmother, but she was "cleaning the castle" the night we came).
Food: Lots of variety. DH sampled a shrimp appetizer, strawberry soup, prime rib, salmon, and chicken marsala. I had an Asian vegetable salad, caesar salad, and pasta mediterranean (penne pasta in red sauce w/veggies). My daughter had some plain chicken. For dessert, I had a chocolate brownie, and my daughter had soft serve vanilla topped with M+Ms. I ordered my DH a *special* dessert, as we were celebrating his 40th b-day: a white chocolate Cinderella slipper. It was really nice.
What made this meal special: Great event for a Cindy lover, plus good food...and that special dessert!

Restaurant Akershus--
Characters: Ariel (in lobby), Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, Mulan. THIS VARIES WITH EVERY MEAL, though, so your experience might be different. I was thrilled with this assortment. Ariel was *especially* nice, and made up a little dialogue with my daughter's poseable Ariel and King Triton dolls.
Food: Koltboard with cheeses, fish, and salads, and a choice of five hot entrees. The koltboard stuff was good, although the set-up is inefficient. The hot dishes were unimpressive. Then again, I know nothing about Norwegian food, so I'm not a good judge. I had pasta akershus topped with chicken, and I thought the pasta was mushier than desirable. The grilled chicken that accompanied it was good, though. My DH had the lamb stew and thought it was okay. Our DD also had grilled chicken Desserts were yummy.
What made this meal special: The sheer volume of princess! Also, the opportunity to meet Jasmine and Mulan! These two seem to me to be harder to find than some of the others. Ariel is available in her grotto, and Belle at Storytime with Belle, and we'd seen Aurora doing photo ops near France, but we might not have gotten to see Jasmine or Mulan without this meal.

Cinderella's Royal Table--
Characters: Cinderella (obviously) (in lobby), Fairy Godmother, Snow White, Ariel, Belle. THIS VARIES WITH EVERY MEAL. (Cindy is a constant at breakfast and lunch, though.) Photo package with Cindy. They actually got a pretty nice shot! Cindy was so nice; she sat down and pulled our daughter onto her lap for the photo.
Food: A big glass of cut fruit. Set breakfast plate with eggs, breakfast potatoes of a sort, bacon, sausage, and a stuffed french toast (I guess) with sweet cream cheese filling and blueberry topping. Kids get a similar plate, but with french toast sticks. The eggs could have been a little warmer.
What made this meal special: This meal was more ceremonious than the others. Each family was issued an invitation downstairs: "We have an invitation for the Royal __________ Family." You go up this winding stone staircase to get to the dining room. Little girls are given wands, little boys are given swords, and both are given "wishing stars." Then, each princess is announced when she first appears in the dining room. At the end of the meal, they do a little ceremony where the kids get to wave their toys in the air and say "Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Boo!" along with the Fairy Godmother. Good fun. So while I'd say this was the worst of the three meals food-wise, it was the best in terms of entertainment, i.e., there was more than just a photo op.

We also did Crystal Palace breakfast, which was my favorite food of the trip, but that has Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet, not princesses. We closed our trip with the Park 1900 breakfast, which had Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Tigger rather than princesses, and this also had really good food.

Have a great trip! You really can't go wrong with any of your options!

Last May, we ate at CRT for breakfast & saw the following princesses: Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle (in her blue & white dress), Cinderella, Snow White, & Wendy (from Peter Pan). The Fairy Godmother was in the lobby. Of course, this has changed now - Cinderella is in the lobby, and the other princesses circulate among the tables upstairs (breakfast & lunch).

We also ate PSB dinner at Akershus in Norway at EPCOT & saw the following princesses: Ariel, Aurora, Belle (in her blue & white dress), Cinderella, & Jasmine. However, I don't think Cinderella is normally at PSB - we were told she was "subbing" for Snow White. Don't plan on seeing Cinderella at PSB - if she's there, it's a pleasant surprise!

Regarding food, we enjoyed the breakfast food at CRT. It wasn't wonderful or anywhere near gourmet, but we realized we weren't paying for the food. (Well, to be perfectly honest, I realized this more than DH - he was a little bummed out upon reflecting on the cost of the meal & the actual quality of the meal. And this was BEFORE it went to 2 TS credits! :lmao: I was just thrilled to be in the castle. After getting up early every morning exactly 90 days before I planned to eat there trying to get an ADR & finally getting one, I would have been happy w/ crackers & water...) But, I did really like the stuffed French toast & fresh fruit - yummy!

We, however, did not enjoy the food at PSB. I had the Pasta Akershus, and the pasta was sticky & the marinara sauce was dried out. DH had the poached cod, and he said it was only "okay". DD had a PB & J uncrustable, & DS had a hot dog. The desserts were the best part of this meal - really delicious. However, I think they've changed the menu since last May, and I realize we could have gotten the restaurant on a bad night. After reading PrincessAurora's review of dinner at Akershus, I'm willing to give it another try. :teeth:

This year, we have ADR's for lunch at CRT & for breakfast at PSB.

If you are set on seeing Cinderella, again, I wouldn't plan PSB if I were you. She is not normally one of the princesses on rotation there. The only places you can count on seeing Cinderella are 1900 Park Fare (dinner) & CRT where she'll be in the lobby for pics (breakfast, lunch, & dinner). You probably have an equal shot of seeing Sleeping Beauty and Snow White at PSB & at CRT - it just depends on the day & the meal. Our favorite princess is probably Snow White, which is one reason we have ADR's at both PSB & CRT - to increase our chances of seeing her. Most of the time, Jasmine is only at PSB. I don't think I've read any reports of her being at CRT. If she was, she's not a "regular" there.

So, if I were you, knowing the princesses you really like (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, & Snow White), I'd probably schedule breakfast or lunch at CRT (& pay OPP - don't use TS credits for it) - if you're only scheduling 1 princess meal. Cinderella is the only princess at 1900 Park Fare, so, if you really want to see some other princesses, I'd wouldn't schedule an ADR there. Many times, you can find Jasmine at Morocco in EPCOT or in Adventureland in MK.

If you were scheduling 2 princess meals, I'd recommend either (1) dinner at 1900 Park Fare (for Cinderella) & lunch or dinner at PSB (I think Jasmine shows up more for lunch & dinner at PSB than at breakfast) or (2) breakfast or lunch at CRT & lunch or dinner at PSB.

You have the most chances of seeing the most princesses by scheduling ADR's for both CRT & PSB. However, since CRT is 2 TS credits, dinner at 1900 Park Fare & breakfast/lunch/dinner at PSB might be the better option.

Whew! I can really ramble, can't I? :teeth: Have fun deciding!!

Thanks for all the info! Last year we ate at CP and the kids loved it. We didn't realize how much she had wanted to eat with the princesses until a few months later when she was in pediatric ICU and was telling the nurses that she hadn't eaten with them when she was telling them about her trip. So I really want this to be special!!!!!
