Best place to buy tickets at a discount

We haven't purchased tickets in a few years and after a quick search I am not seeing a thread on this - at least not a current one.
In the past, we have bought tickets from Undercovertourist with the Mousesavers discount - which seemed to be the lowest price.
We have AAA (but usually that is not best option) and my husband is a partially disabled veteran - (but I don't think qualify for "military" discounted tickets).
We also have Disney Visa (never saw this as offering a discount or benefit to buying tickets w/ this card?)

Has anyone researched this lately to know best place to buy with lowest price?
Need to have tickets buy mid November to do our fastpass selections for our January trip!

We always use Undercover Tourist. Quick shipping and great customer service. Also the prices they have listed already include the tax, something to consider when you are pricing your tickets.

I think that if you are a vet then you qualify for the military discount tickets, which can save a whole lot of money.

If you can get the Military ticket that's great. They are however, sort of limited in that they have a fixed number of days on them. If that fits with your plans then great, if not you may want to look at something else.

The choices are limited though, as there are only a few trustworthy ticket outlets. I wouldn't purchase from any others. When comparing prices make sure you compare apples to apples (taxes namely) and stuff like right now Orbitz has a buy 3, get 2 free promo (or something along those lines)

Undercover Tourist, using the Mousesaver Newsleter link is the best deal
Orbitz (may get the ebates discount on top of this)
AAA (very minimal savings and may even be going away due to the expiration of the Disney/AAA partnership, no idea, just guessing)

All in all, when I researched for our trip in August, the differences in them all were very small and the savings equally as small. In the end I opted to just purchase from Disney. The ease if them already being linked to MDE offset the small savings. Though obviously buying for a larger party than ours would increase the savings too. For 2 adults/1 child the savings was just too small to bother with.

Stupid question that I'm sure has been answered before: Can you book FP+ if you are staying on property but get tix from UT?

The only military discount we seem to qualify for is:
If you are less than 100% disabled and not DAVPRM then you are not eligible for any regular military discount. But you are eligible for stays and ticket purchasing ability at Shades of Green in the months of September and January only. Anyone who has served honorably is eligible for this benefit with their DD-214. Link to this Special Shades of Green Program.

and only because we are going in the month of January- last I checked this simply saved us tax (which in case amounts to ~$60) - might be an advantage - have to check the numbers - problem is you have to buy them from SOG or Military base, which neither seems to be a good option for us.

The Stars and Stripes passes are only available at SOG! I don't think they ship ahead of time either!

They will however, email you the info:

Shades will send this email 45 days prior to your arrival, so that you can pre-purchase your tickets prior to the 30 day FastPass Plus window. Shades will email you the numbers off the back of the ticket to enter in your My Disney Experience Account.

but, I agree - this seems to be nominal savings for a small family of 3. I think UT is still probably the best option.

Yes. You just have to link your tickets in your MDE account.
And it's much easier scanning the code with a smartphone app than entering the numbers manually. I did it while riding the train, worked like a charm

I know this is an old thread, but I found it by searching for Orbitz ticket information. Thank you for mentioning ebates! I had heard of it but never used it. I was able to buy my tickets through orbitz, which saves me $43 per ticket and since I used ebates I am getting $20 back. Thanks!!
