Best place to buy souvenirs?

Where would you recommend buying souveniers for family & friends? It can be either in the World or outside since we have a car. I am specifically looking for a place where I can give the kids the list of people to buy for and they can pick them out all at one time. In other words, it needs to be a place that has a variety for all ages.

Where would you go?

I'd suggest the character warehouse at the outlets on I-drive, or Character Premier at the outlets on Vineland. They can be hit or miss with super deals, but they have park merchandise at a savings over what's in the parks.

1) We find the prices are cheaper at Character Warehouse, Int'l Drive.
2) International Drive Location
. . . has items up to 80% off retail prices
. . . near Universal Studios, so further away from Disney
. . . there are MEARS and Lynx buses available
3) Vineland Location
. . . relatively close to Disney
. . . most items only 50% off
. . . MANY items at full Disney Retail Price (yep, no discount at all!)

If you don't find time to go off property to the discount places, we usually do our stock up at MouseGears at EPCOT. There is also World of Disney at DTD if you are making a trip over there, but we rarely head that way anymore. We find that most of what you can find shopping wise at DTD, you can find in the stores at the parks or resorts, and DTD just seems like it is always a big hassle. Having your own car, it may not be as bad- but I hear with all the construction over there right now, parking and driving around there can be a nightmare.

We also tend to find what we need at Mousegears. Taking time out of our vacation to go outlet shopping is so not happening. Mousegears used to have great clearance racks, but I haven't seen them for quite a while and I suspect Disney now just ships it to the outlet mall.

We like Mousegears at EP as well. Nice selection and pretty well laid out.
