so my good friend wanted me to buy her the sheets that were on sale on BF at Walmart-they were like 500 thread count for $20..well i didn't make it out early enough on BF to get any so now i'm on the hunt for some decent sheets and I need to stay preferably around $20-25 which I realize isn't much but honestly I'm on a tight budget when it comes to extra ppl..I know she wants sheets cuz she specifically pointed them out to me when she offered to get my kids hair cuts as part of their christmas presents cuz I couldn't afford it at the time..so now I feel obligated to buy her some..TIA!

I would try the clearance bins at major department stores. You can get better quality sheets at cheaper prices than Walmart. Another option is Tuesday Morning, Marshalls, Ross and so forth. The 500 thread count is in and of itself meaningless if the thread itself isn't a good quality. I would buy a quality brand at 250 count or better. Here I would try a particular Belk's that has a bargain basement.

A lot of the stores you mentioned we don't have anywhere near me..but thanks..i'll check with dept stores-we have JcPenney, Sears, Kohl's, Boston Store all within about 30 min of me

Any Macy's or Dillard's? Macy's has been running discount coupons in the paper...and they may be available online. We've had them in so many papers I haven't bothered to look. If not I'd probably try Penney's first.

nearest Macy's is a good hour drive away and I wasn't planning on going that far this weekend...I'll try JcPenneys..thanks

Got nice ones at JC Penney. I didn't have a particular brand in mind, but the Cindy Crawford brand was at a great sale price. They are nice and soft. Just watch for the sales, you should be able to get nice 300-400 thread count sheets at a good price.

I looked at JcPenney's website and they don't have anything in the color she wants for under $34 :(

Walgreens had 800 ct sheets the other day for $19.99, I seen queen & full size. Colors were limited to white, light blue, and some other color.

Bed, Bath and Beyond has a big clearance section (at least at the one near me). You can get good sheets there for a low price. You may be able to use one of the 20% off coupons too. I'm not sure if you can use them on clearance or not.

I recently purchased a set at Sam's Club for $40. They came with 2 sets of sheets. I can't remember the thread count, but the sheets are thick and soft. I am very impressed with them and will continue to buy these. Well, as long as they have them anyway.

HTH,

I gotten sheets at overstock before good prices ad good quality also TJmax and those kinds of stores have great stuff for good price.

Try Marshalls or TJ Maxx they always have great quality stuff at great prices.

Name brand sheets are good prices at both places, sometimes they even have them marked down. I got 600 ct sheets at Target and they are awful!

Ross Dress for Less has good prices on sheets as well.
