If Spectro is to begin at 9:00, how early and where (come on, fill me in on the "special" spots!!) should we stake our spot for the parade? Best spots so that those "last minute, can I squeeze in please" folks can't! It's been years since we stayed for a night parade so we're looking forward to it. Thanks!!

Last time we went, May 2001, we had a fantastic spot near the country bears. Not crowded, no pushing...stepping on my kids. It was great. the veterans may have better spots, but this one was great too. * Well see in 4 days!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Frontierland is definitely your best bet for a less crowded spot since the parade starts at the Fire Station up on Main Street.

Of course, it'll take a while to reach Frontierland, but you're not getting run over by people exiting the park.

Disnee Dad Says...............................................Get there two days early and stake a spot upstairs at the railroad station, best seats in the house!!! You know, pitch a tent, spend the night! lol On a very slow November day the front row rail seats were already gone an hour before the parade.

We stand just over the bridge from the hub in Frontieland across from Sleeping Hollow.

We watch the castle change color and there is a wall behind us. That means people can only walk in front of you in the pradade route making it difficult to squeeze in.

It is a great view of the parade coming over the bridge.:bounce:

we've had good luck finding a place at the end of main street, near the emporium. plenty of room on the curb and you get to see the floats longer, since the parade ends here.

We like to sit in front of the candy store on Main Street. We got there an hour early and had popcorn and candy apples while waiting for the parade.

Disnee Dad is right. The absolute best spot is at the top of the Train Station by the front entrance to the park. Not only does it provide a great view of the parade, but you also get a great view of Main Street USA lit up at night. Oh! One other plus to this spot. When the Fireworks are over you can be one of the first ones out of the park to the ferry boat or monorail. Have a great time!

If you don't want to wait for a day or two ;) or if you arrive late, you might want to check the area on the side of the Emporium or across the street in front of City Hall. We've had good luck with finding good places in these areas just before parade time.

The rockers on the porch at Liberty Tree Tavern and just across the street perched on the stone wall. People will get in front of you but most will sit. Even if they stand, you are still higher while seated on the wall! It wasn't all that crowded in that area either even though it was a very crowded day in the park (June).

To concur with above, we have found best spot to watch is around bridge between Splash Mountain area and Frontierland "proper" and then just turn around almost and watch the fireworks. We have found we can ride BTMRR and Splash with almost no lineup then exit out to get a decent view without blocking others of Spectro - I think it gets there around 30 minutes or so after starting

To clarify, Spectro starts at Main Street bottom and exits out near Splash/Frontierland - it is the opposite route of Share a Dream come True parade

thanks
