Best place for souvenirs?

Hi all, we're leaving on 5/29 and I would like to get a couple of my DD's friends souvenirs from WDW. However, I don't want to spend a fortune. I'm sure I'll get them Disney Princess items. Any suggestions as to where to shop in the park for this? Which store has the best selection of "stuff"? Thanks in advance!

I would recomend the Beltz Outlet Mall. They have 2 Disney stores, each with a selection of discounted authentic disney merchandise including princess souveniers. I bought a $20 splash mountain tee shirt for $5, a lovely large mug for $2, a $18 Boardwalk Tee shirt for $5 etc. They have current merchandise (not always discounted) and many many other items as well. We don't drive, but take the Lynx buses public transit there.

The absolute best shop to me is at MK- The Emporium on the left side of Main street. It takes up the entire block and has everything you could want. I wish I was there now.

I agree with pampam - for the best "deal" head to Character Warehouse and Character Premear at Belz - can't beat the prices. Momof2minnies is right about the Main Street Emporium as well. I would also recommend World of Disney at Downtown Disney - no "deal" to speak of but probably the largest selection anywhere!

I'm not really sure what the Beltz is, I'm assuming its offsite. Onsite there is a lot of stores at DTD, but I did all my shopping on Main Street in MK. There is so much selection. And, as the other poster said, there's The Emporium, which is huge (for a main street store)!

I have found tons of stuff cheap at the Character Premier and Character Warehouse at the Belz Outlets. Last year, I got everyone in my office a pin for .99 each. I bought myself a nice, thick hooded sweatshirt for $10.00. I also found a Mickey cookbook that had tons of recipes from park restaurants in it that I treasure. You can definitely find good, cheap items to take back home for others and yourself.

we will be staying at the POFQ in October and my DF would like to do the BELZ Outlets - but we will not have a car - please tell me how to use the "Lynx buses public transit"...

For Disney Cruiser.

From POFQ or any other Disney resort, go to MK, and catch the ferry boat or monorail to the TTC. Go to the bus info kiosk to get schedules. Walk to the Lynx bus stop to catch the #50 bus. Pay $1.25 and ask for a free transfer. Tell the driver you want to catch the #8 bus to Beltz Factory Outlet. The #50 bus trip will take less than 20 minutes. You will be let out near Sea World. Catch the #8 bus to Beltz. That leg of the trip will take about half an hour. When you exit, ask the driver where you catch the return bus. Usually it's at the same place. Beltz is a complex of many different malls and plazas. There are 2 Disney outlets in 2 different malls, across the road from each other. Good shopping. Hope this helps.

My dh and I bought our souvenirs was at the Disney Store at the Houstin, TX airport. We couldn't afford to buy stuff (only our bride and groom pins and mouseears at the parks), and we bought our stuff at the airport. They were stuff on sale so we saved some good money on things.

My favorite two places are World of Disney (in Downtown Disney), and of course The Emporium on Main Street. If they don't have what you're looking for, forget it! There's something emotional to me about buying it from the Emporium on my last night in the park. *sniff sniff* (never wants to leave).
