Where do you guys recommend grabbing a quick, cheap and nutritious brekkie around the PPH? Does the PCH grill have a regular breakfast menu, or just the character breakfast?

We're moving to the GCH part way through our stay, and we've noticed that White Water Snacks has great and reasonably priced selections. Anything like that at PPH? (or nearby?)

Thanks!

PCH grill just has the character breakfast, you can order off the menu or go for the buffet there... same with Storyteller's Cafe. You could just walk over to White Water Snacks for a breakfast burrito, it's much cheaper than a character breakfast. I don't really know if PPH has a quick service restaurant, they certainly should, but I don't recall... they must have a little snack place near the pool like the other hotels do, right?

White Water Snacks is probably the best place to grab a quick, well priced and healthy breakfast. They have breakfast burritos (mine had a ton of potatoes but it was so good!), French Toast Sticks, cereal bowls for the kids, apples and bananas, pastries, muffins, bagels, and much more. They also had Simply Orange juice (the BEST OJ ever!), milk, water, soda, coffee, tea etc etc. Oh ya, they also had smaller snacks, chips or granola bars to take into the park.

we enjoyed breakfast with Lilo and Stitch last visit at the PCH grill. I recommend it. We had breakfast with Minnie at the Plaza Inn and I'd have to say the one at PPH is better IMHO.

White Water Snacks in the GCH gets my vote, too. It's right on your way to the parks from the PPH.

The character breakfast has the option of ordering from the menu, though it's a bit high in price.

I saw a "hut" that said it had snacks at the PPH pool, but never saw it open.

If you go the "right" way (not through DTD like we kept going) towards the parks, you go through GCH and can stop at WhiteWater snacks on your way.

If you go through DTD you could stop for (messy) beignets at Ralph Brennan's walk-up area. Oh wait you said nutritious. :)

We also like to grab a bite for breakfast at la brea bakery right near main gate in DTD.
