Best place for dinner in MK?

DH and I just switched around a reservation so that we can stay at MK on Monday night to see the parade and fireworks instead of going back to Narcoossee's to watch them after only a half day at the park. We're going to Narcoossee's on Wednesday now (YAY).

What's your favorite place for an earlier dinner in MK? It's just DH and me, on the DxDDP. We are staying at GF but prefer not to eat at GFC that night for a late dinner.

Also, if the park closes at 8PM, what time will the parade/fireworks end if allears.net says they start at 8?

Thanks!
Jen

Should we do a late seating at either "The Wave" or try for "Chef Mickey's" at the CR after the fireworks/parade at MK?

I like Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK; the food was very good (not fancy, but it's all-you-can-eat family style).

Fireworks and parade both last about 10-15 minutes or so.

Have you done Citricos at the GF? That is always my second choice if I can't get into California Grill. Either one of those is an excellent choice for an adult dinner.

Ahh, maybe we'll do Liberty Tree Tavern since we're already having breakfast at CP on our last day (as much as I love Eeyore, I don't need to dine with him twice!:rotfl2: )

We haven't eaten at Citricos but I wasn't too excited by the menu, and we made the change so we didn't really have to 'dress' for dinner that night we could just go from the park. What is the dress at The Wave like?

We love The Plaza. After all the heavy meals we eat at the other restaurants, it is a refreshing soup/salad/sandwich place in an ice cream parlor type setting. Be sure if you go to save room for dessert.

I wasn't excited by their menu either, until I ate there :) I am going again on Sunday night (wanted to do Narcoosee's or Cali Grill but both were booked solid).

I haven't been to The Wave yet...I don't think it's a "dress code" restaurant like Citricos is.

Crystal Palace.

It is a buffet character meal but I thought the food was very good at dinner.

In the MK I go with Tony's = Italian. The Wave = American is very good to. I love Chef Mic's but it's a buffet with Characters. Chef Mic's is my favorite. But it really depends what your looking for. I can't see you going wrong with any of them.

Thanks everyone - we were able to get a 9PM at Chef Mickey's, DH and I will enjoy that after a day at the park. Plus we don't have to worry about how we look after being at MK all day.
