Can anyone help me out...I would be so grateful. We're leaving for Disney on (Friday..yeahhhhh!) and one of our family members loves croissants. We're staying at BCV and the last few days at SSR. Can anyone help? Think we're off to a great start...already Dreaming about Disney desserts. Thanks everyone...love this site!

Being at the BCV, you have two of the best places (in my opinion) right by you. The bakery at the Boardwalk has really good crossiants and if you get there early, they'll still be warm but the best place is the Patisserie in the France pavilion at Epcot - heaven, I usually get a bag from there that lasts me (well, is suppose to last me... :rolleyes1 ) for the rest of the trip.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! So glad to hear there are a few places and they are so close by. They sound absolutely delicous, can't wait! Thanks again for your help.

Agreed, the patisserie in France at EPCOT has some of the best desserts. The lines can be a little discouraging at first but to my recollection, they move fairly fast. We got some desserts right before Illuminations. It was nice indeed.

Good luck and Have fun!

Yes, yes the patissere is absolutely the best. I'm walking around with at least 5 pounds of those croissants on me from our Decemeber trip.

We love the Patisserie! Altohugh we've never had the regular croissants, I'm sure they're delicious. We always mean to try them but we always end up with chocolate croissants, apple turnovers, or some other delicious pastry. The line always seems long - even when it's out the door - but since both sides move when you're inside (identical items on each side), it goes relatively quickly! It's worth the wait anyway. Less than two weeks and I'm there - YES! I know this place will be in my dreams tonight!

You should try the chocolate croissants right at the BV/BCV in the Marketplace. It has been a while since I had one from La Patisserie but the Marketplace ones are better I think. They have dark chocolate filling and chocolate frosting with chocolate chips. :faint: Decadent!

I've really enjoyed the chocolate croissants from the Fountainview Bakery in Future World.
