Best place for contack lenses

My DD is getting contacts and I don't want to pay alot. I have no insurance to cover glasses or lenses. Does anyone use an online site to order lenses and/or glasses from. Also, is there a favorite discount store like Walmart where you get them cheaper, but provide a decent product?

I wear contacts and the lenses can be ordered from anywhere as the manufacturer is what it is. The issue with various places is that you must have a prescription to order. I also do not have insurance for vision so that is where you will find the most significant price difference. A visit has ran anywhere from 50-300 depending on the facility and doctor for the exam. My contacts are usually 50.00 a box but I wear night and day contacts. Sometimes there are rebates from the manufacturer as well.

Lately I have been ordering contacts from Walgreens. There is usually a 20% or 25% off code for these.

Watch CVS, Walgreens and RITE AID for deals on solution (with their rewards programs like CVS's Extra Care bucks, Walgreens Register Rewards, not sure what Rite Aid calls them as we don't have any). I'm able to keep my family in stock with solution at a decent price and 4 of us wear contacts. When I am desperate (no deals to be had), CVS has a bottle of plain saline solution for $2.99.

I ordered them from www.visiondirect.com. They had a special going on last month for first time users of their site. I think it was around 40% or 50% off. Couldn't believe it! Yes, you have to have a recent eye exam, but they'll contact the doctor and verify it. If you have the prescription info, you plug that in online, choose your lenses, enter address and payment info, and they show up less than a week later. No problems!
