we will be eating the hotel breakfast every morning but for our last morning we would like to do a nice big breakfast before leaving for our ferry. I would like somewhere that does an american style/cooked breakfast possibly with character. Does this exist?

Thanks

Hi,
you can have a cooked character breakfast at either Cafe Mickey at the Village or the Plaza Garden at the park.

is the charakter breakfast at plaza gardens or at cafe mickey better? what you prefer?
Is the food different to the standart breakfast?

arn0, I haven't eaten breakfast at either restaurant so can't help with your question but just wanted to welcome you to the DIS! :welcome:

Thank you, I'm happy that i found this board!
I don't have any questions exept the questions from my first post.

Here is some info from the Disneyland Resort Paris website. Like I said, I have not been to either restaurant for breakfast but I would guess that the food is probably better than that you would get at the lower budget hotels and either better or same standard as the deluxe ones??? :confused3 And as to which one to go to, would you prefer to eat in the park (Plaza Gardens) or in the Village(Cafe Mickey)? If you look at this site here there are some photos of the restaurants.

Hope this helps. :)

I have been many times to Cafe Mickey for breakfast (and for dinner), and it is NOT comparable at all with the standard hotel breakfast (which I actually really like, btw!)

At Cafe Mickey, You have the choice between many different kinds of breads, rolls, croissants, etc etc etc etc etc etc. There are al kinds of cakes, muffins, pies, ...

It has eggs, bacon, sausages.

It has a HUGE choice of different cheeses and "charcuterie" (how do you call that? Sliced meats) Also, there is smoked salmon.

Fresh fruits, jams, jellies, honey, butter, ...
All kinds of drinks.

I really like it!!

A nice extra are the characters, that come around, by EVERY table!! I was "scared" at first that they would ignore us (two "adults"), but no, they came to our table too, and not only for pictures, but they played with us!!! Especially Chip and Dale. And I think I kissed the bad king from Robin Hood's feet while at cafe Mickey! :rolleyes1

I am sure I forgot many items, but it REALLY is a nice breakfast.
I don't know about the plaza one. I know that, before, it used to be Cafe Mickey and Walt's. cafe Mickey was buffet, while Walt's was à la carte (which I didn't like that much, I'm a huge breakfast eater, and don't want to be limited to one plate!!)

Are you staying on Disney property? If so, the hotel might have character photo opportunities.

When we stayed at the Newport Bay Club, breakfast was included and there were character visits each morning.
